I've always liked cooperativa and was super happy when I found out that it is still around. We came…read morequite early - 6 pm-ish - but the outdoor seating was already taken. No problem, inside were many free tables, but by 8 pm, the place was absolutely full. Not bad for a Sunday night.
It took a while, before we were approached for our order, but then everything came out pretty quickly. Unfortunately, they even brought out the appetizers and main course at the same time. I had ordered a tomato soup and spaghetti, so I had to wolf down the soup to get to the pasta while it was still warm. But everything turned out yummy and warm enough :-)
The waiter was very apologetic and my whole table got complimentary espressos after the meal. Very sweet!
The food is amazing, btw. Small menu, but a little something for everybody. And the bread is the B O M B.
