I called the Tallahassee Police Department and officer Northway cell # 850 879 4035 responded. I explained to this police officer, how I had been in the hospital for a month and had been on life support. I was extremely weak and due to life support my vocal cords had been damaged and I wasn't able to speak above a whisper. Therefore I wasn't even able to scream when "Ron" sexually assaulted me in the shower room. I still have nightmares and I am afraid to sleep. This is the worst cop I've ever seen. The ironic part, this cop is a woman. Protect and serve, yea right. If I ever see a cop in need, you can bet I will respond with as much vigor as NORTHWAY did for me.

Officer Otis (who is mentioned a lot here) sat right by the speed limit sign and then pulled me over, telling me I was going 70 mph in a 45 mph zone. I was very nice and cordial and apologized for speeding, and told him I was not familiar with this area as I was just passing through for vacation. Otis looked me dead in the eyes and said "I'm sure the speed limit signs are just as big in Pennsylvania (where I am from) as they are here in Florida, sweetheart." I have never gotten pulled over for speeding before this or since, and the lack of kindness and sarcasm this officer gave me in that one comment ruined my entire day. He was very unprofessional, rude, and unforgiving for someone who was just passing through. I feel bad for the residents in this town who will have to deal with someone like him everyday, because he certainly cares more about his ego than he does for the safety of civilians.

Just check the reviews! His name has been mentioned numerous times, and I see why. He's very rude and unprofessional to say the least. The speed limit drop from 65 to 45 within a mile. Cpl. Otis set right there just pass the 45 mph speed limit sign and stopped my for going 68 in a 45. I was on my way home from completing some army training. I had been gone for a few weeks and was just looking to get home to my family. I was still in my uniform when I was stopped. Cpl. Otis never told me why he stopped me, he just asked for my license. I had to ask him what speed did he clock me at. I tried to talk to him, he wouldn't listen. He just handed me the ticket and said have a good day sergeant. As I mentioned before I'm a police officer myself, so I've been in his shoes on numerous occasions, but I take the time to listen to people and tell them why I stopped them. Not this officer! he shows no compassion or respect for anyone. The last time I received a speeding ticket was 11 years ago, and he didn't take that into consideration. That's things that I look at before I decide to write a ticket. I don't write tickets for stats, but I truly feel like Officer Otis does.
