They have a bigger selection than the Sainsbury's Local that is nearby, and much cheaper than buying at the airport.

In addition, they always have lots of tempting chocolates and cakes alongside the single queue to the checkouts, so clearly the marketing folk have been doing their stuff. It is pricey though. You have a decent selection of veggies, meats, ready to eat meals, breads, frozen, dairy, cheeses selections. It is a bit hard to distinguish different aisle form one another but at the end you find what you are looking for. They key here is you can go in and out very fast with the their automatic cashier system, and somewhat small store footprint. I go there for quick errands at the end of the day.

One of the reasons I deducted one star is because one of the female cashiers came off as being rude. She said, "If you want a bag, you should've said so" with so much spite. What in the world was going on in her life that she had to take it out on a customer? Meanwhile, on the other spectrum, her coworkers went out of their way trying to help me find shelf stable milk since my hotel didn't have a fridge. So pros: convenient, helps save some money, some of the employees go out of their way to be helpful. Cons: At least one female cashier needs to be spoken to by management about how she talks to customers.

It was very busy inside with what I imagine was mostly the regular weekday comminutors. There are many self-checkouts so the line went fast. Advice for visitors: like the vast majority of stores in the UK, make sure you bring your own bag or you will be charged for one.

Compared to America, everything in the store was very well-priced and I was elated to find an entire gluten free aisle to shop from. I literally was a kid in a (GF) candy store haha. The image is from a slight afternoon haul where I was craving some snacks. The GF bread had many nutritious seeds and came in handy throughout my stay. I have been missing the GF jam tarts and Bakewells every day and cannot wait to indulge once I return to the UK. It was so hard to believe that the baked goods were not only GF but were also milk free! Although Sainsbury's is a convenience store, it still deserves the praise on here for any future shoppers from near or far.

It is a decent size Waitrose store but many things about it which I usually like about Waitrose seem to let it down, for example, the staff members seemed a little rude and to just get in the way especially when stacking shelves, it seemed like they had a rude and careless attitude which was a shame. The selection of drinks in the store which was the main purpose of my visit wasn't too great, with a poor selection of Iced teas, with the only one available being Fuzetea (they didn't even have the mango flavour either, just the peach one I don't like!) Like with all Waitrose there was the quick scan via your phone service "quick check", however, I couldn't find where to go at all to activate your shopping, the only part easy to find was the checkout for people using the service. With no barcode to scan in obvious sight or mini-handheld scanners which the service uses, this part of the store could definitely be better organised. The location isn't bad and it is nice to have a decent sized supermarket in this location, which was within walking distance of the Hilton London Euston in which I was regretfully staying during my time in London, but many parts of the store such as stock of certain items, organisation and staff members do let it down so it sadly does not justify anything over a two-star rating.

Prices are inflated but no more than any other convenience store elsewhere in central London, the product range is small, given the size of the store, but they do sell products in most product categories, although the choice within them might be non-existent. The store is pretty much set up to walk down the aisle from entrance to exit in single file mode, the staff are friendly enough, the store is clean, and there are both manned and self-service checkouts. 3* - Really useful location to grab some essentials or a cold drink, but it is somewhere you'd want to get in and out of super quickly, due to how small the store is and how busy it can get.

You go in one door and you exit another. There's just enough room to start at the top of the aisle, and browse going down. There is usually a long line formed up the whole aisle to the registers. It moves pretty decently, though. Most people coming in were buying bottled water, salads or sandwiches. They also have a £3 "meal deal", for a drink, sandwich and chips. Sandwiches are less than £2, bottled water can range from 42p to 86p. Those are the two things I mainly came here for. This is the cheapest place I found to buy water. They also carry a lot of OTC meds like asprin, toothbrushes and toothpaste, anything a traveler might need that they forgot at home. It's located right across Parliament and next door to Cafe Nero and the Westminster Tube Station.
