I took my dog here for approximately one week, with the impression that he'd get taken care of. When I came to get him he was limping and I asked what had happened. The woman said that she had laid new gravel and thought that may be the reason. My dog continued to limp so I took him to the vet. He had been shot in the leg with a BB gun and developed a bone infection and i was told that it needed amputated. I had to end up putting him down. I should have sued her but i didn't. Im a firm believer that you shall reap what you sow. I miss him and I know that I'll never take another dog there and highly recommend that no one else should. It's a shame that anyone would allow that to take place. Idk who did it but one day they'll have it come back to them in one way. read more

We had used Countryside Kennel and our dog, Natalie, was injured while in her care. Instead of seeking veterinary care, she notified us in Hawaii expecting us to take our dog to our vet clinic. We requested pictures of the injury so we could at least evaluate it. No pictures were ever sent. Obviously we weren't able to take Natalie to our vet and didn't have anyone that could. When you kennel your dog, they are paid to care for the pet in our absence. She claims to have reached out to a local veterinarian, but he refused to provide care?! What?!? A few days later we received an email that "Natalie is doing well." Upon returning home and picking Natalie up, we immediately rushed her to an Emergency vet clinic in Dayton. Long story short, our dog was left to suffer a severe injury with no veterinarian care for a full week! When contacting the kennel owner for some resolution after Natalie had healed, we were very disappointed in the inconsistency and denial of responsibility and accountability. We will never use this kennel again and do not recommend them based on the mishandling of our dog's injury. read more
