Safety is out the window, and all they care about is getting you in and out while making as much profit as possible. We brought our van to be serviced (placement of a new radiator) on a Saturday. When we picked it up the workers complained about how hard the job was, but that everything was working perfect. We paid and went home. When we got home the van stalled out!! We looked under the hood and IT WAS A MESS. The battery not plugged in right, screws, bolts, hoses not connected right, hardware sitting on the upper portion of the hood, and a BROKEN radiator (the clips that hold it in place were broken off as if someone had just forced it in and then attempted to cover it up). The radiator was loose and sliding easy back and forth. We brought it back in on Monday (closed Sunday). My husband had to take of work for this, and I work nights, so this was not easy. They were initially defensive when we showed them all the problems, but when they saw all the issues they apologized and said that they would take care of the problem. We picked it up later that evening, and when he got home to look at the new radiator--IT WAS BROKEN still!!! We called again and were told to bring it up AGAIN! We dropped it off Tuesday night at their request so that they could fix the problems all day Wednesday. We pick the car up on Wednesday. We get home.....THEY GLUED ON THE BROKEN PIECE OF THE RADIATOR PASSING IT OFF AS BEING FIXED. THE PIECE FELL OFF WITH GLUE ALL OVER IT. My husband and I were over it. We paid close to $1000 for a service that was not done. The manager REFUSED to refund the cost of the radiator telling us to just go back AGAIN so that they can "fix it." We told him NO, because there is ZERO trust left in their quality, integrity, and their complete disregard for safety. My husband has been in the aerospace field for over 15 years as a higher level mechanic. The only reason he couldn't do this job himself was due to time!! They did not realize that my husband knows mechanics well, including all of our vehicles. Me being in the medical field I see how dangerous car accidents are firsthand. Their lack of care and safety is appalling. DO NOT GO HERE!!! THEY CUT CORNERS AND DO NOT CARE FOR SAFETY!!

Was instructed by U-haul this was the closest drop location for my rental truck. Dropped off a U-Haul on Veterans Day as scheduled and they were closed. Called U-Haul to confirm drop off was done and left keys in drop box. Woke up today to see these liars hit me with a $70 surcharge!!! An extra day rental even though the truck was dropped off the day it was due. I guess they think they can just charge an extra day because they're closed. Not the way it works. Not only that but an additional "coverage" charge, to add insult to injury they charges an additional $10 for gas!The truck was to be left with 9/16th a tank of gas, so just a little bit above half. Which I left it exactly at 9/16 but they think they can just scam you for another $10, $70 in extra fees these dishonest thieves tried to hit me with. Well unfortunately for them I took tons of pictures and have already initiated the complaint with U-Haul and demanded a refund as well as reported them to the Better Business Bureau for scamming. Can't imagine the scummy business they pull on people buying used cars or needing a transmission fixed!! STAY AWAY!!!!

It took about a week to get parts and do the work. During that time he kept in touch as to the repair. Picked up the truck and all was repaired to my satisfaction. Would definitely recommend Builder's for transmission work.

If you go in, look at all of the disclaimers on the front desk..... they will use anything to void the warranty. I had a new transmission put in, went bad within 15,000 miles. Called to speak to the owner and he hung up on me, how is that for Customer Service. Horrible company, horrible people, poor workmanship, will find any excuse to void warranty!! My response to "Lifetime Transmission" review feedback. My bad, it had 24k miles when the transmisaion blewup!! Yes, I had my truck regeared to 436/37 as requested. Their disclaimer say within 14 days, I had it done within 30-45 days. Its not easy to find a shop, have them schedule it in, and do the work. So according to them, the extra 30 days and 150-200 driving miles on 37 inch tires ruined their "LIFETIME TRANSMISSION"!! Seriously, what a joke. Mind you that I drove the truck 175,000 miles with 37 inch tires!! I did not have the receipt, and the shop that did the Gearing work is under new name/ownership, so it has a new invoicing system and cannot get me a receipt. HOWEVER, "LIFETIME TRANSMISSION" knows the people at the shop. So I asked them to call the shop and verbally confirm the regearing. Mind you its a shop that they have worked with before.... they said not good enough... WOW. SO I asked, well can you please look at the vehicle and have your mechanics confirm it is regeared....they said not good enough.....WOW. In retrospect, when I went back and looked at reviews from Google, Yelp, Carfax and others.... there are other people who have had similar issues. You have to find them in the fluff reviews from their staff- I am sure. But those reviews are there..... and based on my experience they are likely real!!! Final word, I do not recommend "LifeTime" Transmission!! Horrible company, horrible people, poor workmanship, and they will find any excuse to void your warranty!!

The dealers fix was to replace whole transmission but after shopping around I decided to go with Lifetime Transmissions. It was a little higher than other shops but the lifetime warranty is included in the price. Staff was friendly, helpful, and gave me peace of mind that the rebuild was going to be done right. Bonus, I also got to keep my original transmission. Lifetime put better parts and calibrated my transmission to where I don't have to worry about it going out in another 125k. Valerie was very thorough about maintaining the transmission for the lifetime warranty. The process was simple and straightforward, and my Silverado was back on the road very quickly. Thanks Lifetime Transmissions, I would recommend to anyone needing transmissions work!
