So we switched…read moreher to Epic and Kumon was one of their prefered vendors and I can not tell you how quickly she is catching up and excelling. Kumon has been an instrumental part of her success and the joy she feels with reading now. Before it was a struggle for her to sit and read anything. Now she is excited to not only reading herself but constantly makes sure we have our reading time at night before bed. Kumon made it easy for her to learn the sounds of letters when coupled with others and to understand the phonics of reading verses the memorization of all the words with the public school system. Kumon helped simplify which words were sight words and which she could use the tools that she learned when she started Kumon to sound them out and actually understand how to read more words in the english language. We would absolutely recommend Kumon to anyone who has a child guessing at words or struggling to read.
