Our granddaughter attends the French Immersion school here. We went for grandparents day. I have…read morebeen impressed with the things she has been learning but when we were there to observe the teachers and kids, I came away with an even better opinion. The teachers all seem so kind and caring of each individual child. We also observed a level of discipline that is rarely seen in todays society. The children are being taught to be respectful of others and their surroundings. I saw examples of children being trained to be kind to each other. I saw discipline of respect for the facility. I also observed a principal show a child how to be self controlled rather than running wild. Education and book learning is highly important, but if a child cannot control their own impulses and behavior, the book learning seems to bypass the childs attention. Mrs Eva has 25 years of experience on our local school board and is quite observant of how schools are operated. She was highly complimentary of this school. I am extremely impressed with what I observed and felt like I was in a private school rather than a public school.
