I received an email notifying me that this clinic was going to occur and KI thought " what the hell", I would try it. My last conviction was over thirty years ago and was for drugs, I'll give it a try. I preregistered and I didn't receive any responses indicating that i would not be able to qualify for expungement even though my criminal hIstory during the late 1980s was pretty extensive. It was scheduled for 1-4. I arrived a few minutes early and had issues with parking my car. There was a pay to park lot directly in front of the building and there were on street parking also, which is metered parking. For either one you must use a kiosk to pay the fee. First I used the one nearest to the lot I had parked in, which was crazy, with no organization to it and people parked just anywhere. I paid the fee but as I looked at the situation in the lot and how haphazardly the cars and trucks were parked, and because I very recently had my vehicle painted and spent a lot of money doing so ( people wouldn't believe the costs of paint and all the other supplies necessary to paint a vehicle these days), so my girl went off to find where the clinic was actually being held while I saw an open space opening up on the street and relocated to that spot, only to find that my ticket for parking in the lot was not good for the on-street parking, that there was another kiosk at the curb. The particular kiosk indicated that I could pay by card or coins. It just so happened that I had a grip of quarters for use at the car wash. However, with three attempts at purchasing a ticket I was unable to do so. I located a number to call and did as the kiosk had seized up and didn't refund my money notr issue a ticket. After I eventually got thru to an live person and told them my issue, she asked me a bunch of questions which I tried to answer, none of which was resulting in resolving my issue. so as we spoke I noticed that several vehicles were now leaving the lot so I just ran back to ,my car and psarked in the lot where I felt comfortable that it might be safe. I crossed the street and discovered that the "Left Bank" building was not the correct place, that I needed to find the annex building which turned out to be a block away where I located my girl who had been standing in a long line of people who were there for the clinic she obtained a number for us it was number 77. We looked around, there was an entire waiting room full of people waiting to have their number called and there were 4 tables in this huge "reception" room where the "Lawyers were conducting interviews. I didnt do any sort of a count but there were well over 100 people standing around with their Pit Bulls or ferrets or whatever else they brought to this place with them. It was ridiculous and so we spoke to a female who appeared to be trying to control the crowd of street people present. She said another clinic would be held next month at a different location so we didn't hang around. I returned to my still undamaged car and pleasantly surprised left up outta there. It WAXS A Freaking ZOO!!! 1-4 my ass! more like arrive by noon and get in line. If you are lucky enough, you may not be turned away at 4pm but I wouldnt hold my breath.

I tried ignoring them since my experience was pretty bad but alas... they kept asking for it. So here it goes. I retained James and his crack team of professionals because they showed up first in Google for personal injury attorney. I see thats not the case anymore and should have chosen one of the others that appeared on there now. I didn't call anyone else because I assumed they were the best. Boy was that a big mistake. Shortly after hiring them they sent me to a local chiropractor for a few months. This was okay, they did a great job although it was constant 3 times a week. Once the chiropractor said everything was better James' receptionist said that they would begin negotiating my case with the insured driver. The weirdest thing happened, after hearing weekly or monthly from someone during the first month or two of my case they went radio silent for over a year. I had ideas of the thousands of dollars they were making off of my case and no one could bother picking up the phone and giving me a call. And then it came... a phone call. From the receptionist. She told me that they've been negotiating hard on my behalf and they have reached a settlement. The offer? 50% lower than the national average for someone with my injuries. How do I know this? After 15 months of radio silence I started calling other attorneys and looking for second opinions. They were all too willing to share their opinions of my case and one looked up my injuries and told me the national average settlement amount. Armed with my new knowledge of the injuries and how personal injury law was negotiated, I declined the offer. I refused to take that low ball offer against my own attorneys advice. And I'm glad that I did! They went back to the insurance company and came back with a little better offer. Which I did take. I needed to put this behind me. It had been a long road. Would I hire this same law office again? Highly unlikely.
