I merely asked a few questions because I am not an accountant (that's what I pay them for, right?) and the disrespect and condescension I received in return was astounding, almost like he wanted me not to use his business. There are thousands of CPAs in the New York area. Go with one that will at least care about the work they do for you, not rip you off and not disrespect you. Other than a brief mentioning to pay these bills in an email in 2013 that discussed a separate subject matter altogether, no formal attempt to seek payment for these outstanding balances was ever made in the 7 years since. Instead, 7 years later they went directly to a collections company who prematurely reported thus to the credit bureaus ahead of the pay by deadline specified on their letter which severely hurt my credit score. They lied that it would all be reversed (I have everything in writing). Will be taking them and their crook collections company to court if I don't hear back from them over these felonies ASAP!
