There have been oftentimes classrooms are over ratio to state guidelines. When it comes to communication among teachers, it's not quite there. It has become common to hear "I don't know" when asking a question in regards to my child's day. There have been times I have seen teachers not paying attention to kids whether it's taking over the fence while kids are on the playground and their back is turned to them or being on their phone. There was a time I came to drop off diapers and all the teachers were just sitting in chairs. Not one single of the new teachers and assistant director ever bothered to introduce themselves and I can guarantee don't know my name as a parent. Incident reports no longer go home. My child got hit and had a bloody nose and no one bothered to call or send home an incident report but rather just updated in the app. After having a sit-down, the owner and assistant director were not very welcoming in bringing up concerns so not all concerns were brought up. It's very much a "can do no wrong attitude" even when my daughter came home with fingerprint marks on her leg that looked like it had been from holding too tight during diaper changes. Upon leaving, I could overhear them gossiping about me as a parent when they thought the door was shut. It's not the first time though that concerns got brushed under the rug. Sasha has been the only asset to this company and we have appreciated all that she has done. I have attached pictures of the fingerprints, the bite mark from when my daughter came home with (I had to tell them it looked like a bite mark for them to even look at the cameras because they weren't watching and didn't see it happen), a teacher on her phone, as well as the threats. *Since posting our review on google I have received quite the message about being sued for posting our experience which should indicate how well parental feedback is taken.

With that being said discrimination should not be a thing and is absolutely disgusting. I have ran into multiple issues with this daycare for the past two years. for starters they do not change my sons pull ups often multiple times I have picked my son up with a pull up so full it was leaking through his pants on his shirt. multiple times I have picked him up with bowel movements and had to change him myself and he was constantly being picked up with a rash. Next they wrote a report that my son fell and hit his head when I picked him up he had a huge knot on his forehead and liquid coming out of his ear. so I had to take him to the emergency room to be checked out. In December I was picking up my son and I did not see him I asked where he was and the teacher was in complete shock because she did not know where my son was either. she had lost him. After 5 minutes of searching the daycare he was found outside alone in 19 degree weather in the dark ALONE unsupervised. recently he has been coming home with bruises and unusual marks on him and when questioned them about it they got extremely upset with me because this time I was not nice about it I said I want answers on what's happening with my non verbal child. they did not like that very much so the OWNER of this daycare called me yelling at me being absolutely completely unprofessional and saying they do not want my son there anymore that they can't meet his needs and hung up on me. so I would consider other daycares in this area before looking at this one especially if you want your child taking care of properly and not just "keeping them alive" other things have happened but that would turn this review into a book I am extremely happy I removed my son from this daycare as he was showing signs of being scared to even enter the building lately.

Just a little over two months ago my son started at Once Upon a Daycare (right behind Jersey's) in green and I cannot tell you the night and day difference I have seen with him. While atkas is only 2, he has shown many milestone delays, especially with speech, as well as showing several austisic traits. With all of that said-- Miss Rosie has such incredible knowledge with the extra help that he has needed and I have found myself able to breathe a little bit again. I cannot say great enough things about finding this place and Miss Rosie-- but if you're looking for an affordable, helpful, fun place for your kid to go I highly recommend Once Upon a Daycare!

Each person you're directed to has a different and conflicting answer and their etiquette/ manners / professionalism are TOTALLY lacking to the point it was actually comical. 2nd let's touch on the schedule paper, online or otherwise ... they are woefully incorrect , in an average week if we attend 3 times the open gym schedule will be wrong 2 of those times. We've brought it to their attention to which we were told oh well ! The schedule has been the same for 5yrs (which is isn't/ changes quarterly) and that regardless they're closing ... it was basically me and my family telling them of the error to be spoken too like we were idiots by no less than 4 people including a rude old man who was lucky I was there with my family and not alone. Instead of apologizing and offering us an alternative paper schedule we were just told no less than 15 times (no exaggeration) that it's doesn't matter what it says online we're closing ... then were directed to paper schedule available to all member that are in the lobby - which were identical to online and wrong. A total joke for a place that's nearly $80 a month after tax for a family of 4.

During his one day of employment here, one of the customers decided to make fun of my husband. My husband suffers from Schizoaffective and Bipolar disorder as well as PTSD. It was hard enough for him to just show up and walk through the doors without being picked on. The older gentleman that made rude comments basically called my husband stupid because the man thought he needed help washing the windows. The man that was with my husband was from Ohioans with Disabilities and he was only there as moral support. This older man said, "is it really that hard to wash windows that you need someone to hold your hand while you do it? That's pathetic." Nobody stood up for my husband and he left immediately full of shame and regret. He felt less than as if he did something wrong. It is sad that you cannot even have a safe haven at your local YMCA. It is not the YMCA's fault this man said those nasty things, but nobody made him feel safe after. There were a few employees standing around that did nothing. What has this world become where we just blindly judge another human being? To the man the was rude... I wish I could give you just one day in my husband's shoes. He forgave you almost immediately, I am not so forgiving. Shame on you and the people that witnessed this injustice. Mob mentality at its finest. I fully believe in Karma. What you put out comes back to you 3-fold.

Neglectful and borderline dangerous…read more Our toddler daughter was recently pulled after a series of repeating incidents over about 2 months. She returned home with severe bite marks 4 times, without being informed or any formal reports being issued. I needed to speak in person with the director to insist that the bites were properly documented and reported. She fell from the top of a table and hit the back of her head. Our daughter regularly comes home with severe diaper rash, the final straw being severe rash on both legs (and other areas) that took almost 2 weeks to heal! She was walking with a waddle when I picked her up and her clothes were covered with and smelled liked feces. Checking the tracking app suggested she did not receive a diaper change for the last 6 hours of her day. Compared to our time at home, the teachers are clearly lying on the app with "dry diaper checked" instead of changing a dirty diaper. If an investigation was done I would not be surprised if they are failing to meet the state mandated number of diaper changes. I'm not sure what the excuse was, but there is apparent high turnover and inconsistent caretaking. With the exception of only one teacher that we were aware of, the teachers might as well not been watching the students. Stay away, there are other, safer, options in the area. When we finally pulled her from this facility, after a verbal conversation with the director, she acted "horrified" and promised we would not be charged for the next month. Well, like the lies in the app updates, she lied about this one too. I only wish we could have trusted our daughter's meltdowns earlier during 100% of the dropoffs in the toddler room (after acclimating to the prior room). She clearly was trying to communicate the neglect but was unable to. Any parent's nightmare.
