I wanted to stop there yesterday. They are closed on Sunday!
We stopped there today, Monday. They have leather outside the store on a rack. I thought I'd go inside & browse for more. The owner/sales clerk, didn't great me when I entered the store. Instead, she looked like she's mad, but never mind about that, she must be having a bad day. I continued to browse for styles, sizes, colors. I've been wearing leather for 5 decades, I buy one about 1 a year, but no one came to help me, if there was any help I needed. I like that, that I can just browse to my heart's content. I saw the owner/sales clerk again, and looked like she's mad at me! You know the feeling, when you see someone, and you could sense, they hated you the minute they see you? Could it be, I didn't look 'rich', or 'dressed smart', or that I looked like I'm a 'tourist and probably will try to bargain', or that 'someone who really is NOT INTERESTED in buying?' maybe someone who 'look like a shoplifter'. I don't KNOW, but all of a sudden, I'm like a minority, and that I didn't belong in HER STORE. She's a Swedish, and a MINORITY, but she probably didn't know how to speak English, so I just left and let it go.
I really wanted to try one or two, there are a couple jackets (I love the color, I'm pretty sure the sleeves are 5" too long, but I would have wanted to try them on at least, but because she was 'cold' to me, I didn't felt comfortable in shopping there, that we left.
