When I called in again this year, I reminded them of my situation about my forms, moving states, and that I needed to file for an extension due to a K-1 that comes in later in the year. They were ok with all that and I was sent a login link to the Medford Tax portal to submit documents for my taxes. After I reminded them that I was planning to file for an extension, they reconsidered and I was told that I'm "no longer a good fit" since they don't want to help people with extensions as they said it was like "preparing the same taxes twice". I understand that they may not like it when people file for extensions, but it is an extremely common practice with personal taxes that they should be accustomed to. I was surprised to be given this treatment and refused their services just because I am filing for an extension. Please be aware that Medford Tax does not treat returning clients well and are not very thorough when preparing taxes.

He always sent me detailed annual reports and my taxes were all filed on time. He does get extremely busy in the 6 weeks leading up to April 15th, but that is expected with all accountants. I always call Rick in February or March then I send him my documents a few weeks after, and my taxes were usually done in 1-4 weeks depending on the complexity.
