There are two separate central displays and the rest of the books are on the wall all around the shop. This makes it very easy to get around if you have a buggy or are disabled. There are a range of discount books on every topic imaginable, from childrens books to cookery books to biographies, fiction and much more. Prices are competitive, with books often sold as being damaged (even though you would find it difficult to find something wrong with them). The stock does regularly change, so if I see something I like then I tend to buy it then and there as it might not be there next time i'm in town. Parking is either in the town centre which is fine, but can be a bit difficult carrying heavy books to one of the surrounding car parks.

As I type, there is scaffolding outside apparently to give the whole building a fresh coat of paint. I've even found a Facebook group for them! The choice of cards is unrivalled & the prices are fair. Magazines can be ordered in but with one whole wall devoted to them they'll probably have what you want in stock. They also offer a paper delivery service in the local area (at a cost of course) They carry a small stock of basic goods coffee,tea, sugar biscuits and loo rolls. There is also a small selection of stationary and a large selection of sweets. You can even get sweets out of the jars like when you was a kid. As it is an old building there is two steep steps to get into the shop so this is not accessible to a wheelchair user.

They are so reasonably priced cheaper then most other places that sell books. As you walk in there are books all around the walls of the shop mostly kids books downstairs, and they are all well below the price they should be. They also sell some games, cards and craft items. Downstairs there is also always a reduced section, where sometimes you can even get things as cheep as 5p! Upstairs they sell adult books, referance books and lots of art itmes, whcih when my dad visited from America he just loved.
