This branch of WH Smith is quite a large one and it is also split over two floors. The sell a very large variety of books, magazines, cards, photo albums, art and craft supplies, kids and general staionery, CDs, DVDs and computer games to name a few. I find the magazine section in this store is probably the best in town and I have never yet not found a particular magazine that I was looking for in this branch. The store is very well laid out and always looks tidy. It has a pleasant atmosphere too. This is one of the best WH Smith stores in the area mainly because the range of products is so high and the store is large which stops it becoming cluttered looking. The prices are not too expensive, although not the cheapest place to buy stationery, but if you are looking to buy a range of stationery related products then you may be able to get them under one roof here to save time shopping around. read more

WH Smith sell magazines, stationary, DVDs and Cds on the ground floor of their shop and books upstairs. The upstairs isn't all that large but the store is well laid out, with different subject matters divided up and the chart of bestseller titles along the side wall. Making the most of the available space. WH Smith also seems to have became more competitively priced for books lately, with more special offers. The strength of the store is its magazine selection and book deals. I think the DVD and CD selection is weaker because those products are such a competitive market with Zavvi and HMV usually cheaper and located close by. read more
