This is mainly a book shop but they sell other items such as craft materials and some children's toys and games, calenders and diaries and other related products. If you are looking for the latest chart title books then you won't find it here, but what you will find is cheap books that maybe came out a little while ago, but instead of paying around £10 to £15 for them, they are usually between £2 and £5 for hardbacks. I often pop in for a browse and end up treating myself to another autobiography because they are so cheap. It can get a little crowded in here especially at the weekend as it is not a really big shop and the displays in the middle often make it difficult to get around the whole store, but if they weren't there then there wouldn't be as much to choose from. The works is really good, great offers, interesting gift ideas, good books and Art supplies. My only issue is that its really difficult to get a buggy round it, and for that reason I dont tend to go in. read more

This is a really great value book shop, with the added benefit of catering for crafts & gifts too. Wonderful for stocking fillers at Christmas. The only negative is that it's very hard to negotiate a pushchair or wheelchair around as it's so packed with bargains! read more

Great good value bookshop - you will be tempted to buy more than you need. Good for stationery, paints and hoby related stuff.
