Every year I look forward to this flea market. One of the great things about this city is the…read moreannual neighborhood flea markets that happen across various city neighborhoods. It's a great way to get to know your city and also pick up some great bargains. Typically held during spring and summer it's an event most locals look forward to. Centered around Wörthstraße the Haidhausen flea market is quite big and loads of residents put out their wares. Tons of clothes, toys, household items and knick knacks about. Don't hesitate to bargain, it is expected ;-)) I always do anyway, it's in my blood "born to negotiate" lol Loads of cafes in the area and you can pop in for coffee or lunch and make a day of it. One of my top three markets in town and one that I try not to miss each year :-)) muenchen.de is the website to find out when all the flea markets around Munich are. If the weather is good it's a fabulous way to spend a day in town.
