Never again will I use these guys. Bunch of crooks who will manufacture faults to boost sales. Left my car for M.O.T and was called to say my vehicle had failed because the offside rear tyre had a deep cut and nearside light output severely reduced. I explained to the chap that I found that strange because the two rearer tyres were brand new Avon (225 40 18) and had been thoroughly inspected a day before. I also explained that the light output was due to me replacing one bulb and not both therefore only needed a bulb change. The replacement tyre was going to set me back £100 and the chap had already placed an order and when I asked if I could have the tyre replaced elsewhere, he became very abrupt and demanded that I had 1 day to correct this without being charged for a full retest. At this stage I was becoming very suspicious. He then went on to say that I would be driving my car without an M.O.T if I went elsewhere to get my tyre fixed. This chap must have thought I was so naive but quickly reminded him that my M.O.T was still valid and was due to expire in 7 days. So in the end, to avoid further damage or sabotage to my car, I paid up and vowed never again will I use these fellers for repairs! read more
