I appreciate the effort the barber put into my haircut--it turned out fine and followed my instructions. However, there were a few things that made the experience less than ideal.
First, the barber was quite rough while combing my hair, to the point that it was actually painful. Second, they didn't take the time to clear the loose hair off my face. While a few stray hairs are expected, I was left with a noticeable amount, which was uncomfortable.
The most disappointing part was that the barber didn't style my hair at all when they finished. I had to ask them to apply gel, and even then, they admitted they didn't know how to style my hair. Every barber I've been to has always asked how I'd like it styled, so I was surprised when that didn't happen. Simply asking would have made a big difference.
The price was fair for the quality of the cut itself, but I expected a more polished experience from a high-end barbershop. I respect the work barbers do, but I felt it was important to share this feedback. read more
