That being said, the café experience in Othmarschen isn't great at all. The interior is unimaginative, and staff have chosen to store packaging materials, high chairs etc. next to the tables. Tables aren't cleaned between guests. Two and a half hours before closing, only two half cakes are left to choose from. Most coffees and hot chocolate costs around 4-5.50€ per cup, but those cups are super small, and even then staff doesn't bother to properly fill them. And once you are finished and want to pay the bill, staff instead direct you to line up at the cash register with everyone who just wants to grab something to go.
This isn't acceptable at around 10€ for a cake and a hot chocolate. The location needs some attention by the owners in my mind...
