I tried to post this review on Google, and to respond directly to Bob's before posting a review but…read morethey don't have an easy way to give them feedback. They do have polite people and do decent work but I did not have a good experience with their repair business. An annual inspection turned up a couple of small problems - low refrigerant in a system and a nearly failed condenser fan in another. No argument with that conclusion so I said go ahead with fixes. Got the invoice and should have paid more attention - a price gouge of epic proportions. Here's what I sent them that got rejected by their system: PS - registered professional engineer who should have paid more attention. 'I was not here when this work was finished, and I have no issue at all with the technician and work performed. He was professional. I agreed to all of the work. But I regret now not doing additional homework on the cost. A one pound 410a add should cost more like $100 at the high end all in. Easy to find on google or Yelp), given you can get a 25 lb Jug in the range of $250. And yes, there is labor and overhead in that , but for for a 30 minute job $325 seems excessive. I also was able to source the replacement fan motor with an identical Lennox model# from a number of sources- from around $200. Again, that doesn't include labor. So if I'm generous, you got $300 in parts, add 20% for miscellaneous. And yes, I get that there is 'Bob's guarantee' and you have overhead, but an 1800+ bill for less than two labor hours of work, make it 3 with travel time and even at 150 per hour - and maybe 450 in parts and material -the total markup at 2x is to me excessive. Plus your billing is deficient in the level of detail so it's even hard to understand how you could add it up to that much. My wife paid the bill of course, but with these prices even though the service is good I won't be using or recommending Bobs for repairs in the future. I'll do my homework.' PS - last postscript. You may have noticed Bob's no longer responds to Yelp reviews. Must be too busy. Or they don't care. Neither one is a good sign.

Title: Customer-Focused, Knowledgeable, and Truly Committed - Sol-Up Delivers!…read moreAfter an exhausting experience with a nationwide solar provider--quickly realizing they were simply too big to care--I decided to move three rooftop solar projects to Sol-Up. From my initial email inquiry and the Sol-Up team's immediate follow-up, I knew I had made the right choice. I was fortunate to be assigned to work with Antonija, who, instead of rushing us into quick signatures or pushing products and lease programs that primarily benefit installers, patiently walked my wife and me through a full Solar 101 presentation. Admittedly, I'm someone with minimal patience, but I actually enjoyed the presentation and learned a great deal about product selection and design considerations. Sol-Up has been in business since 2009, and it shows. They are highly proficient at navigating the many obstacles in today's solar environment while remaining 100% customer-focused throughout the entire transaction. Antonija, Rita, and the leadership team treated us like family, offering sensible, customized solutions for each of our three rooftops. With the federal solar tax incentive set to decline at year-end, I highly recommend reaching out to Antonija and her team for a truly "Simple and Seamless" solar solution. You will not be disappointed.

I called and asked where they all went (I saw them loading them into trucks on Ring video) and the rep said they were all broken, they were not. They also broke a few tiles on the garage, but repaired them. I have had a couple issues with the panels since, and they have been responsive, although it may take a few days. Overall, a pretty good solar company.

This was a big purchase for me and Joey/LGCY were the only ones who gave me the confidence to pull the trigger. A year later, I'm glad I did. I pay $200/month for my solar. Last July I paid NVEnergy $600!

Complaint Against Legacy Power (LGCY)…read more I want to share my experience so others don't go through what I did. Solar is a good thing, but you must be very careful about the company you choose and the salespeople who may be more interested in a quick commission than the customer's wellbeing. Unfortunately, my experience with Legacy Power (LGCY) has been terrible. When I met with the LGCY salesman in my living room, I was very clear: I would only agree to install solar if (1) I could keep my AC set lower during summer (from 78° down to 75°-74°) and (2) the system provided 100% offset of my NV Energy bill. He promised both would happen, telling me my only NV Energy bill would be the $19/month grid connection fee. Based on those promises, I moved forward. In early 2024, I purchased -- not leased -- a 7.98 kW solar system for $28,900. That price worked out to $3.62 per watt, which I later discovered was about 34% higher than the average market rate at the time. By the time I realized it, the contract was signed and the installation was underway. The installation was completed on time, but that was the only thing that went right. * Missing equipment: The installer failed to install consumption CTs (devices that track energy use vs. production). When I asked about it, LGCY told me there was "not enough space" in my panel -- despite their own site evaluation saying otherwise. I ended up paying another company over $400 to install them without issue. * System underperformance: My 7.98 kW system has only ever produced a peak of 5.3 kW -- about 66% of capacity. Why you asked? LGCY installed 440 W panels but paired them with microinverters that max out at 300 W. This creates what's known as clipping -- energy that the panels could generate is simply wasted every single sunny day. * Broken promises: Instead of covering 100% of my usage as promised, I'm now paying an average of $140/month in the summer to NV Energy, on top of the nearly $29,000 I already paid for solar. * Customer service failures: When I raised these issues, the salesman (who sounded as a solar expert during the sale) brushed me off with "I'm not a technician. You should talk to tech support." Tech support told me my system was "working as expected." In reality, it's only working as they designed it -- with built-in limitations that were never disclosed to me. The result: I paid nearly $29,000 for an overpriced system that was poorly designed, does not meet the criteria I explicitly set as conditions for purchase, and leaves me with ongoing energy bills I was promised I wouldn't have. LGCY has taken no responsibility for their misleading sales practices, poor system design, or customer dissatisfaction. Bottom line: My system is "working as expected" only because it was designed to underperform from the start. That is not what I was promised or what I paid for.
