I hired S & J Electric - Jonathan who is the owner of this establishment. He came and did the work for me, just to find out that he has done things AGAINS THE CODE/RULES. Cost of his work was $4000 - lots of money for the work that was done wrongly and putting my family at risk. At this time I have to hire people to come and correct the issues that Johnathan caused or created. I have contacted Jonathan and informed him what the inspector said that his work did not pass the inspection and that his work needs to be corrected. At first Jonathan was angry and said that he doesn't want to waste his time coming back to correct the issue, but after while he promissed that he will come and correct his mistakes - no show ups few times. This is very unfortunate as I really liked the Johnathan and his father and have hoped that I have found a good electrician that I can utilize for many projects in years to come. Now I have to report him to the governing entities.

Leave a message, then wait a week or so and leave another message and so on. Not exactly the best business practice. I like to give the small local guy my business but unfortunately they are not always the best choice.

The owner admits that his work looked sloppy but blames it on the builder instead of telling the builder the situation needed to be corrected before he could complete the work. It is troubling when you don't know what is actually behind the rest of the plasterboard walls in the house. Ok stuff happens! A responsible company will come back to make good.
