Outstanding. I'm a big NEIPA fan and wouldn't normally order this in Europe but decided wth... it was fantastic. The kind of NEIPA I'd order on the regular back home. Also had a Hefeweizen bc I had to. Also great. The food. So they have a small tapas menu but was looking for more, so looked at the dinner menu. Unfortunately the dinners didn't fit in my company allowed price range (Switzerland is way too expensive), so tapas it was! Honestly it was perfect. Cheese w chutney, salami, falafel and some local meatballs. All delicious and filling. Great experience. Just lower your cost Switzerland and I'd try more! I'll return next time I'm in Basel.

By the time for the kitchen to open, I was ready to head somewhere else. Delicious craft beers, a friendly bartender who spoke perfect English, a comfortable space to sit inside (heated area outside) and a speedy wifi. This was a superior spot. I can't judge the food all that much since I only ordered a weisswurst and pretzel but it seemed okay. Compared to some other places, the prices were quite reasonable. It gets crowded but you can often find a spot at the bar. If you want to sit in the beer garden, you can swing by the main restaurant to get pretzels. The beer is light, crisp and refreshing. It was slightly sweet and citrusy for a great hydrating drink. I'd definitely stop by again. Cash only.

Very friendly brewer and nice atmosphere. For CHF 15 you can get 6 tasters of 125 ml and keep the glass which is quite a great deal. Beers are all very well crafted and well balanced (for example a perfect cream ale), they are mainly american inspired and they don't save on hops.
