Set in an area a short tram ride from the city centre on the edge of a park this hotel is lovely and quiet and provides excellent value for money. It has clean, modern and well maintained interior and exterior. Staff all speak fluent English and are helpful and accommodating. There is free wifi in all rooms and internet access via a computer in reception. Breakfasts are varied and food is plentiful and fresh. We had the penthouse apartment at the top of the hotel which afforded us the most stunning view of the Prague hills and skyline. Our apartment had a fantastic bathroom and wetroom, a spacious living area and ample double bedroom with a walk in wardrobe area. At only £70 a night four of us lived very well indeed. The room included a safe and frig and it was quite roomy. There are a few standouts here... The Lesser Town location is ideal if you want to be in the "real" Prague - away from the maddening tourist crowds. Then, there's the rooftop terrace which is a great hangout during the evening or between 3-5 PM when free tea and snacks are served. The front desk gal, Marcela, was truly the nicest person we met during our entire stay in Prague. Her English is excellent and it was refreshing to actually have a genuine conversation with a Czech as many of the locals prefer to not socialize with us tourists. She's a real gem and she's also a valuable resource for local info. Finally, there's the breakfast here which is simply wonderful with many different and interesting types of food included. The coffee is superb as well All said, Hotel Julian is a great "off the beaten path" choice with easy access to the city tram system making exploring Prague an easy matter.

In the room there is a TV with a choice of channels in various languages, wifi is free and unlimited. We had breakfast included, that's continental type: there are croissants, bread, ham, cheese, and hot and cold drinks in quantity. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is located a bit out of the center, but it is in a comfortable position because it has the metro stop (Andel) a few meters away. Also in the immediate vicinity there are a few pubs and a shopping center (Novy) with a Tesco and plenty of shops. ll definitely come back.

They have a nice variety of restaurants (open late) & a shopping center close by. My room was spotless and a good size. It looks like they renovated the rooms recently & rooms, lobby area have a modern design & feel. The breakfast was excellent with a good amount of choices. Their sister hotel (Andels) is behind the Angelo. The fitness area (which is an actual outside company gym) is located in the basement of the Andels Hotel & can be used by Angelo guests also. It is definitely a proper gym. Staff throughout are friendly and helpful. They have the program where you get a snack if you opt out of having your room cleaned which is a nice touch. Also, have light fare room service. Excellent value for money!
