La Terrazza offers a rooftop terrace seating with gorgeous views of the country side. This is the type of place in the business park, within walking distance from Mariott, where many offices are located. People go to lunch here, it's a sort of a cafeteria style setting in terms of the presentation of food. Not your typical trattoria style. Great assortment of antipasti (cold appetizers), including sautéed veggies, artichokes, eggplant, roasted zucchini, red bell papers, carpaccio, prosciutto, soppressata, fresh mozzarella nuggets drizzled with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Beef stew, meat loaf, steamed seasoned potatoes, pasta shells, sautéed green beans, octopus with macaroni. I called them that, they may have proper Italian names attached, I just didn't care to go deep today, nor did I have time for that. Have you ever tried cioccolata calda along with frozen yogurt? They have great natural frozen yogurt with live cultures, too. How about cioccolatini and dragées, like hazelnuts, almonds, ginger, covered in dark chocolate? Rich, smooth, and delicious indulgence, with a crunch to its smooth texture, it's so addicting. Light, fluffy, airy, these desserts are not like the massive bombs of sugar you get in the States. It reminded me of a Kinder Bueno candy bar...but in a mousse cake form.
