Philipp, Apple care technician offers GREAT customer service!!!…read more We came here on a Monday to get my husband's phone fixed. We arrived 30 minutes early to our appointment and they took us in right away. Our tech, Philipp came our about 5 minutes later asking what the issue was with my hubby's phone. He ran diagnostics and found out that even though his phone was kaput, the system lied and said their was nothing wrong with the phone. He came out and said that their was really nothing he could do and that we were going to have to call Apple Care in the states to request a replacement. We found this incredibly disturbing and inconvenient due to the fact that we have Apple Care + and that the store should be able to give us a new phone, but the computer system just wasn't giving the option to make this happen. Philipp really wanted to help us so he seemed guidance from his boss. He told us that we could probably receive a loaner phone, as i explained that we live more that an hour away and that we are both in the Military, our phones are essentially necessary for us to have. He had great empathy for us and went to the back. He came out and told us that we're lucky that he found a physical deficiency with the phone which basically allowed the store to issue us a brand new phone. He told us we were lucky because in Germany, when new phones are given out German's have to pay €99 for a replacement, BUT because we got our phones in the states, we were issued a new phone with no cost!!! Yes, a new iPhone 7 Plus free of charge, which is what we hoped to receive if they couldn't fix his current phone. Thank goodness to the kindness of Philipp, we left as happy customers. BEST customer service we've received so far here in Germany, thank you again Philipp!!
