I had the pleasure of having Lam & his beautiful assistant make a highlight reel of my wedding 11-29-14. His team was there early & spent the whole day recording everything without complaint. I also had another team record the day too but Vixflix team finished the project within a month. I'm still waiting on my video with the other team & it's been almost 3 months now. :(( I wanted to thank his assistant Alysa for going above & beyond at the ceremony. I had 3 flower girls that was fighting/crying right before the entrance. Alysa calmed them down & gave them gummy bears. Thank goodness she was there to save the day! Where do I start? Lam offers a very affordable rate! and offer so much with his skill! He had a theme for the highlight of my wedding video. We picked Sugar by Maroon 5, so he actually used sugar for the rings! With limited budget, we thought we could never have a videographer for our wedding. We were very glad to find Lam because other Vietnamese videographers' style are very tacky and Lam offers a more modern approach to the recording! But trust me brides! it is worth it to hire Lam! because the wedding goes by so quickly, that you won't even remember what happened with just the photos! You can't really capture the emotional feeling of your special days with your guests! Aly is very creative as well! they work great together as a team! :) At the reception, you don't even notice that Lam was there recording your moments! and yet, you can see that he didn't miss a single thing! As a chubby and short bride, I was really afraid that the recording would not go on well with me, but Lam captured the most beautiful angle of me! haha Everyone loves the highlight video, and he made it to be very classy and focus on the theme of the wedding and the story of my husband and I! I was so lucky to have Lam & Aly be a part of our wedding day. Our highlight video really captured a great amount of the varying sweet moments on our big day. He truly was able to convey the essence of such a full day of fun and joy in just a handful of minutes! I can't imagine being much happier than I am with my video. A year ago when my husband and I were planning our wedding, we weren't going to hire a videographer at all. But after thinking it over, we decided to search for one. We found Vixflix Studio on Yelp two month before our wedding. Lam didn't rush us into signing a contract, he gave us time to make decision. He is professional, prompt with emails, and has a great artistic eye. Pricing is very affordable and I love that there isn't a maximum hour. Especially for us it was going to be a long day and wanted to incorporate everything. Lam had one other assistant. They work so well together and with others. They were with us the whole day and made everything so stress free, from getting ready early morning, tea ceremony, and photo session and throughout our whole wedding. I wish there were more stars because 5 just doesn't cut it- I hadn't even planned on hiring a videographer for our wedding because we were on a very tight budget but now our video is my favorite thing we took from the wedding- first off let me say that so many things went uncontrollably wrong on our wedding day- it was July in California and 5 minutes before the ceremony was supposed to start it started pouring rain. Flash flood warnings went off during our vows and my children were throwing tantrums and going nuts the whole day- I thought that for sure our video wouldn't have many great shots because of all of the chaos but you would never know anything went awry when you watch that video! They got so many gorgeous details and moments- many of which I hadn't seen myself at the time of the wedding. It was so artistic and I've had people I barely know message me and tell me how much they love it and it made them cry. If you are looking for a videographer in Orange County, you've found the right one. read more
