It was a Groupon for haircut, deep conditioning, and single process color. The hairstylist (Michelle) suggested I should only do the roots so I did. She wasn't very personable to begin with but her work matched her energy. When she was dying my hair she was staining my hairline which I know many hairstylists "clean up" after but she was just blobbing it on all sloppy and I could see the dye staining my hairline and ears. When she rinsed off my hair she wet my entire shirt on the back (see photo). Even after I was done and she "cleaned up" my hairline I have black hair dye all over my hairline and ears. Safe to say I will not be returning here, ever. To make matters worse, Groupon was paid in full and she charged me an extra $25 for idk what bs but I didn't care at that point. I'm never going back! Even when I needed to reschedule, she graciously moved me to the very next day. When I stopped by a beauty supply store to look for the hair she recommended, the staff showed me some very pricey options. Tisha actually called the store herself to guide them to the correct items so I wouldn't overspend. I even got turned around on my way there, and she allowed me to communicate freely without making me feel rushed. Once I arrived at her shop, we had amazing conversation and enjoyed great music. Her space is cozy and welcoming, and she made sure I was comfortable -- even offering bottled water. I genuinely enjoyed her company and felt like I was talking to a family friend. I have alopecia, and Tisha made me feel beautiful throughout the entire process. I had purchased 1B hair for my sew‑in, and during the installation she thoughtfully added a pop of her own custom color to elevate the overall aesthetic.
