We talked through what would be in season and the overall vision I had for the day, and they brought thoughtful, creative recommendations that elevated everything in the best way. Their communication throughout the process was outstanding--always prompt, responsive, and incredibly detail-oriented. Their invoices were clear and thorough, which made it easy to feel confident about every selection and investment along the way. And then came the wedding day... I was completely blown away. We chose a colorful mix of David Austin roses, ranunculus, and delphinium, and they transformed our venue beyond anything I could have imagined. From the aisle markers and broken arch to our "Best Buds" seating chart wall, bouquets, boutonnieres, and reception centerpieces--every single detail was stunning. The best part? I didn't have to think about a thing. They handled everything flawlessly. When I saw my bouquet for the first time, I actually gasped--it was so full, vibrant, and beautifully arranged. I'm having it preserved because I never want to forget how special it felt. Funky Mountain Flowers captured my vision perfectly while adding their own artistry and expertise. I am so incredibly grateful to have had them as part of such a meaningful day. If you're getting married in North Metro Atlanta or North Georgia--run, do not walk--to Funky Mountain Flowers. My florist friend brought me here to pick out flowers for my reception. I had googled "how to shop…read moreat a floral wholesaler" days before to help prepare me, but I still had no idea what to expect. For one, I really could not tell you the difference between most flowers (thus why our centerpieces were baby's breath - easy, simple, affordable and the bigger bang for your money). Fred is in charge of the fresh flowers and helped answer my questions. Most of their fresh flowers is in the walk in cooler and grouped according to their type. There wasn't a huge selection, but each flower looked fresh and healthy. Since it wasn't rows upon rows of flowers, making my final selection was pretty quick and easy. Fred wrote up my order and I was out in under 1.5 hours. Picking up the flowers was easy, I walked in, confirmed that my order was paid for (We were blessed to have our friend purchase the whole thing for us as a wedding gift!!), pulled my car around and everything was carefully loaded in by their staff. The flowers were very fresh and lasted not only during the reception, but several of our guests took home the centerpieces and bunches of flowers that are still going today (5 days after the reception) which is a great sign that these guys had premium flowers!

When I placed the call, I was met with a very calming, professional voice on the other end. This individual proceeded to answer all of my questions in a very concise manner, and went on to make specific suggestions as to what items I might consider placing in the two orders. The two orders were then delivered the next day, and my cousin could not believe her eyes! I will definitely be recommending Blooms of Dunwoody to all of my family members and friends!

Each gesture was deeply appreciated, but the arrangement we received today was truly extraordinary. From the moment it arrived, it took our breath away. The artistry, elegance, and attention to detail were simply remarkable. Every bloom was thoughtfully chosen, creating a stunning tapestry of color, texture, and beauty. The wrapped vase elevated the presentation even further, transforming the arrangement into a work of art rather than simply a bouquet. In a season when kindness has meant so much, this arrangement stood out as one of the most beautiful and memorable gifts we have received. Thank you for creating something so breathtaking and meaningful. Exceptional work--truly unforgettable.

I initiated this process in early May, providing full details, color palettes, and specific flower…read morepreferences well in advance. To simplify the order, I cut our original request in half by removing the smaller arrangements to focus on the key statements. Despite providing clear direction early on, the entire experience was marked by significant issues: Communication Breakdown: There were long, concerning gaps in communication throughout the process. The email sent on June 29th left it completely unclear that standalone arrangements were being replaced, leaving us with arrangements meant for pillars that were never provided. Subpar Quality and Unmet Aesthetic: The final arrangement did not match the aesthetic or quality of work I anticipated. While I understood that wisteria vines were out of season, in-season flowers like hydrangeas and peonies--which were specifically requested--were either omitted or poorly executed. The overall display felt like a rushed, last-minute attempt to cover up a severe oversight rather than a professional, thoughtfully designed arrangement. Unacceptable Delivery Execution: Adding insult to injury, I was charged a $75 delivery fee, yet on the day of the event, I was expected to meet your team at the venue entrance and carry the arrangements inside myself. Charging a delivery fee for a service that required the client to perform the manual labor is entirely unacceptable.(This was communicated but did not state a delivery fee would still be charged) For a once-in-a-lifetime family event, the combination of poor communication, failure to honor design specifications, and unprofessional delivery execution was deeply disappointing. I am sharing this feedback with the expectation that it provides a clear picture of where your service failed to meet basic standards, and in hopes that these practices are corrected for future clients.

I figured we should give the place another try and am glad we did. We met with Scott for a personal tour and he was beyond fabulous! I didn't realize CFW has another area with candles, faux flowers, ribbons, etc. so the tour was a nice touch and very much needed. Rene and Scott certainly turned a negative into a POSITIVE! Scott was so knowledgeable about various flowers, gave us input based on our needs, and is just amazing! The sissy and I plan on using CFW for our upcoming events vs. ordering online.
