The bathroom was especially frightening. I didn't even feel comfortable using the one toilet in the men's room, it smelt horrible and was very, very dirty. The sink looked like it was falling. Too bad because the gym is in a great location with a great view from the third floor. The owner needs to invest in his business or customers, like me, won't be coming back,

This is 50 pesos a day (about $2.50 USD) and this is where legit bodybuilders train in PV. There's no AC, the equipment is old (but some great old school machines) and it's not huge, but to me this is the best gym deal in PV. I took Uber to get here and it was still cheaper than other gyms. Highly recommend if you're into real deal fitness.

I can't speak for locals (who may have a different experience/expectation) but as a traveler I thought that the comfortable air conditioned workout room and ample equipment selection were great. It is a smaller gym but there are plenty of cardio machines (treadmills, ellipticals and a couple of stationary bikes) as well as a good selection of machines and free weights. The locker room is clean and spacious. You do have to bring a towel or you can buy/rent one from the front desk. Although I didn't go at a peak time, the floor was pretty active with a few muscle twinks ("eye candy") who were polite but they did tend to hog key pieces of equipment (leg press and squat rack). Social distancing and mask wearing were strictly enforced.

It did annoy me that they had a yoga class posted for Saturday that didn't exist anymore, but overall I'm glad that I am splurging and going there. Let's start with the good:…read moreGood location Able to walk up around 10:30 and get a lounger, a few rows back, but I could still see the ocean, and an umbrella was key for a day in the sun. Music added ambiance but wasn't the pounding club vibe of some other places. Water in this area is calm and not overly crowded. Maybe I just got lucky, but the people sitting near me were friendly which was nice on my solo trip. The menu looks good, and those around me got their food relatively quickly and had no complaints, but my experience was different. It took forever to get someone to take my order. Well over half an hour, I'd been given no update about my order. When my waiter finally happened to pass by, I asked about my food, and told him to cancel my cocktail and just bring me water. I was so dehydrated and hungry . The water didn't take too long (though it should've been faster considering the extended wait already), but my ceviche took at least another half hour to get to me. It looked ok and tasted fine, but within an hour, my stomach turned sour. I spent the next two days feeling sick. It left me wondering if my food had been sitting out. I'm not saying don't go there, but be careful with what you order, and if your food isn't served promptly, maybe cancel it just to be safe.
