And during the recession, when others I knew were seeing their investments cut in half, we lost very little. And what we did loose, was more that made up for by 2010 To say Sabrina is a wonderful financial planner is an understatement. This appealed to us because we were looking to hire someone who would manage our investments according to what would be best for US, not where they would get the most commissions. I don't like dealing with accounting stuff and was dreading the process before our initial appointment, but they ended up making it fun for us, yes, FUN! We did some exercises that helped us define what kind of a life and future we wanted, where we saw ourselves and the process from there was pretty easy. Evor and Johnny exceeded our expectations as far as the services they provided. We were expecting someone to manage our accounts, but they went over our trust documents, disability insurance, taxes, and had great referrals to the best of people in all those areas. What I like most about working with Evor and Johnny is that they are very pleasant to deal with, easy to get ahold of and answer any questions you may have, personable, transparent, have high level of integrity, and truly care about your personal goals and future. Even though I dreaded changing all the accounts over, Evor made the process seamless! He filled out ALL the forms, made all the calls, gave me my tax info, all I had to do was sign the forms... Now I have the peace that he is taking care and watching my investments. He emails or calls me when he feels we should move money from one sector to the next, sends out an informative news letter AND I now get all my investment info in one nice package that is easy to understand. I came to review Macel especially because I want to acknowledge how she has went extra miles for me and helped me with a situation that went beyond her services, I was given a notice by my employer that a law group representing a major credit card that I previously had which was closed with an outstanding balance that I had not paid due to hardship was attempting to garnish my wages, being a single person living alone, this was devastating for me, I wasn't sure how I was going to be able to live with a portion of my wages being intercepted. I reached out to Macel in desperation since this was an account that she was assisting me with on challenges to the bureaus, Macel helped redirected me and calmed me, I sent her the paper work that was served to me, she went through it with a fine tooth comb and informed me that she seen some major discrepancies in their notice with how much I owed, compared to my credit report, they were attempting to collect more than what I owed on that account; it wasn't much more but the fact was that it was incorrect, which Macel informed me is illegal ! Macel wrote me a letter to present to the county sheriff dept where I was instructed to send my notice to appeal the garnishment stating the discrepancy found. Macel also gathered my personal documents and set me up in preparation if I was to take the next steps and request a court date to fight my case, two weeks later, I was given another notice from my employer, the garnishment was thrown out by the courts ! With Macel's hard work and drafting a statement on my behalf, she helped me avoid this garnishment which could've affected my livelihood, I want to thank Macel for helping me and providing me the tools I needed to stand up for myself! I want to give recognition to this woman for her knowledge and strength and how she has went above and beyond for me as her client.
