I initially went in for anxiety. The consultation I received was very thorough and professional. I never once felt uncomfortable in the setting. The acupuncture itself was obviously not painful and the process was explained to me thoroughly before beginning. I felt much more relaxed afterwards and truly feel that a few treatments helped my anxiety. The visible result came months later- I was bit by a dog multiple times on my legs and feet. I required surgery for these bites- my foot was a mess. I couldn't walk for a bit, and then needed crutches for 3 months. When I started functioning again, I couldn't move the toes on my right foot (the one that had the surgery) and limped on it still. I used my next acupuncture treatment for my foot instead of my anxiety to see if it would help. After that one treatment, I stopped limping and could move all of my toes again- my boyfriend was absolutely amazed at the difference. The first time she did work on my kids and I, there were things that seemed a bit outstretched but surprisingly made complete sense to me and without understanding really why I was overwhelmed with emotions I couldn't control and was choking back tears. Still not fully on board but more open to the truth of energy healing, about a year or so later my 5 yr old son was having some terrifying dreams and seeing scary things for almost 2 years that I chalked up to a kids imagination. Then one day, I witnessed the reality of his fears. He was on the trampoline and when I called him in. He went to get off through the safety net entrance and as his hand touched the net he simultaneously screamed and jumped back, looked so the side of him (where there was nothing or no visual being), and shouted, "the bad dreams just tried to get me." My entire body from head to toe was instantly covered in goosebumps and it's as if I could feel the presence of whatever was there. My husband and I immediately contacted Carrie and had whatever needed done to protect our son. After battling this fear and bad dreams for what felt like forever (in his short life), it was almost instant after having work done that we all felt relief. After a few sessions there was almost no mentions of any bad dreams. Now well after a year later he's only mentioned having a bad dream like that 2 times!! (To which I immediately call Carrie and it resolves.) Then 3 months ago my 2 yr old daughter went into a 3 hour seizure and was close to death. As soon as we called the ambulance and I was able to contact her we asked for her help. The medications weren't working. Nothing was working. The Drs had to try multiple times to intubate bc they couldn't get it in causing bleeding and swelling before they got it in. We spent 4 days in the pediatric ICU and left with no answers. You save on packages, but they have several sales at any given time, allowing you (and me) to pick up a package of sessions at an even better price. This helps people like me (sick) to get better at a discount! The staff is happy to get any of your questions answered, make you comfortable, and help you when needed. I have crazy anxiety, so getting me in a chamber is a bit of an ordeal and I don't always make it to the end. Fortunately, they give me a walkie talkie while I'm in there, which allows me to settle a bit (I have claustrophobia). I usually bring a book or notepad and a pencil in there with me to keep myself distracted. I have made it for the full hour 3 times out of 7, but I got up to 40 minutes on the others.
