It was a wedding gift surprised that my sister had no idea about and they help me keep it a surprised the whole time. My sister's venue El Cortez in downtown San Diego required insurance paperwork and proof that the business was there. And they had every paperwork I needed which is very hard to find in a lot of photobooths nowadays. The night was amazing we got the inflatable with LED lights and they had every prop we can think of. I wasn't sure if I wanted to pay the extra money for the book and to be honest with you I'm so happy I did. When's the night was over and we went back to the hotel we went through the whole bunch and were able to see all her family and their funny poses and that's a memory that we're going to be able to take with them. And on top of that they gave you for copies one for the book and 3 to take with you so if you have a large group that's totally the best thing ever you won't have to fight over who gets to keep one copy. On the wedding day, our attendant Angie was AMAZING. She didn't just set up and print photos--she was actively adjusting the booth for every group. I had the opportunity to work alongside Isaac and his wife from Take-A-Pic Photo Booth this past…read moreweekend for a wedding I planned and coordinated at Twin Oaks House & Garden Estate in San Marcos. The couple I worked with decided to hire a photo booth at the last minute and, being so close to the wedding date, Take-A-Pic was the only photo booth company in the area that was available. Thank goodness!! We were fortunate enough to have such a sincerely great vendor to work with. Isaac and his wife arrived just before the wedding reception, and were able to set up discreetly on one end of the venue with little to no distraction. Their equipment is more modern compared to other bulky and hideous photo booth vendors I've worked with in the past. They had an open set up, which was perfect for large group photos. Isaac actively worked with the guests and assisted them with pressing the buttons and letting them know when to smile for the next shot. I really liked the props they had. They weren't the tacky and whacky props you normally see; instead, they were classy and suited the wedding. When my couple weren't too happy about the original custom design they requested, Isaac and his team accepted a new custom design we created for the "logo"/"monogram" part of the photo strip. They easily incorporated this design for us and it was wonderful seeing it in actual print on the day of the event. Overall, I will gladly recommend Take-A-Pic Photo Booth because they had wonderful customer service, a clean and classy set up, suitable props, easy and quick tear-down and set-up without the distraction, and are fairly priced. Unfortunately, there were several things about the experience that I was disappointed with. The inside of the photo booth was very dirty, which was especially disappointing because guests are getting inside and using the space throughout the event. There were two women assisting with the booth for the entire time. Several of my guests mentioned afterward that they felt uncomfortable because they felt like they were being constantly watched while using the booth. Some guests told me they didn't feel comfortable going back to take more pictures because the older attendant was watching them very closely. I was also told by multiple guests that the older attendant was rude toward children and that a child was stopped from taking additional pictures, even though the package was advertised as unlimited photos. If unlimited photos are advertised, I don't think guests--especially children--should be made to feel like they're doing something wrong by taking pictures. The attendants helped themselves to food, they even entered the home for treats. I was also surprised by the additional tax/charges on the final bill, which appeared to be around 20%. I would recommend asking for a complete breakdown of any taxes and additional charges before booking so there are no surprises
