Thanks to the loving care this company and their employees provided my mother, I have decided to pursue a career in the Home Health field. Emily encouraged me to consider this career change during the time she was caring for my mother. I will begin working at AssistedCare soon. If I could give Kennedy Companion Care a higher rating, I would. I live alone with no supportive…read morefamily or long term friendships. At best, I receive short lived assistance from others and that assistance is usually limited to what others decide I need. While all types of assistance are welcomed and appreciated, in Wilmington, NC, look no further than Kennedy Companion Care to get Your Needs Met! From the first phone conversation we had, I realized they offer a spectacular service that I have not found in my three years of looking for the assistance I need, which is more challenging than most situation. With no one person to whom I am loved as a priority, I often need assistance so many take for granted. I require a service that can provide compassionate care of listening to me and assisting me in finding solutions that work for me! I require uninterrupted conversation, folks who aren't afraid to help with litter boxes, folks who will see solutions to even mundane tasks my disabilities will not allow me to do successfully, someone who will advocate for me, and I need the usual housekeepin, running errands, and checking to see that my personal care goals are met. Best of all, I went from needing a crisis line call yesterday to feeling like a treasured person today. My caregiver made me feel whole today. When she left, I am still carrying a peacefulness, and joy that no other person ventured to do for a very long time. I feel heard; I feel wanted; I feel as if I am still lovable. She couldn't have given me a better Christmas gift if she tried. When looking for a caregiver, the best you can find is someone who honestly enjoys being with their charge. Someone to whom the adult needing assistance feels there is a bond, a real interest in who that person is. This gift can't be trained. Either it is there or not. Most agencies charge a lot and then you get told what cannot be done. Kennedy Companion Care prices are competitive but they are the only ones who say I will help any way needed. Even administrative individuals have come to assist me if required. Hire Kennedy Companion Care and you will receive a Christmas gift for the family.
