Such as needing assistance with bathing or medications . 24 hour nursing staff available. They have a gym availability with supervision. A nurse practitioner from Pak medical clinic is available 1 time a month. And a local podiatrist also comes to the Blake. Transportation on Tuesday and Thursdays for doctor appointments. Once a week residents can get in the tram to go shopping at either HEB or Walmart. They can also sign up to go to restaurants( of course they pay individually). Occasionally they go for a play or other entertainment. I went with my mom to see an Elvis impersonator, great fun. Another residents could sign up to go to local playhouse, circle Arts entertainment. The front receptionist ladies Courtney and Deb are the best. They're always sweet and welcoming. My mom loves it here. For those whose family members need it there is a memory care.

He was overmedicated and was out of it most days. We did not know about the medication issues until later. After two weeks, he could no longer walk with or without a walker. The food was not good and he lost weight. We moved him after 3 weeks. A couple of the staff members were excellent and caring but for the most part it was just a paycheck.
