My father and I have been simply overwhelmed with administrative complexities of elder care as much as the care itself. At every point of contact from the our nurse Linda, to the administration by Andrea and Deepti and the personal attention of Gagan, we are truly blessed to have them as part of our family. They have provided as much comfort to me as they have mom. Care Mountain is rich in knowledge and delivers a very human, comforting touch point for mom where all too often you find staff that have become desensitized to the very nature of the care you want for your parents. While my mother's care is paramount for us, I selfishly must admit that the relief they have provided me is equally important. We don't ever worry about mom when I'm not there. I feel reassured that they are giving my mother the physical care with the kindness and love I would. To be frank, I don't feel guilty that I can't be at my mom's bedside 24/7 with Care Mountain. They don't provide elder care, they provide "sincere care". Don't be afraid to lean on them. You will be pleasantly surprised at how much of a resource and comfort this company can be. I'm such as fan that if you would like a personal discussion with me about my experience, ask Gagan to provide you my contact.

There is a shuttle service to BUMC Roberts Bldg, but, unless it's too hot you can just walk over. Deep Ellum is just one block over, so, there is lots of eating and entertainment within walking distance. Twice Blessed is where out of town patients and their care giver stay post Transplant, for approximately 90 days. During that 90 days you and your care giver are going to clinics, education classes, physical therapy, dialysis, or whatever is appropriate. Apartments are $50 a night for a single which has two twin beds (I call this the Lucy and Ricky Apt) all utilities paid. Apartments are fully furnished with a small T.V., free WIFI, couch, recliner, dinette, stove, refrigerator, washer, dryer, coffee pot, can opener, silverware, pots, pans, and, some dishes. Everything is of cheap quality, but, it is appreciated. The commode is only bolted on one side. When you lean, it leans. Catch my point? It also leaks like crazy. But, don't worry, if you fall off the pot, Fire Station #3 is right across the street. There are rules you are supposed to follow. They say no to smoking, alcohol, and, pets. Not even a goldfish is allowed! Trash is to be placed into a black can and sat outside the apt Su - Thur from 1800 - 2000. I've always been a rebel when it comes to authority. Just sayin' I don't always play by the rules. Small apt, appx 600 sq ft. For convenience at $50 a night, I really can't complain. I am fortunate to have these services made available to us. God Bless Twice Blessed!!

It's great that it's walking distance to the medical center. However, there are shuttles that come every 15 minutes Monday-Friday or you can even drive yourself (you will have to pay for parking, FYI). The front desk lady, I forgot her name, was extremely pleasant. I'll be sure to get her name next time I'm in town. There also is a gym that's decent, along with a swimming pool. I did see a computer center but it was on the weekend and it wasn't open at the time so I'm not sure the actual availability for the computer area but you can just inquire. All of the units are air conditioned and there is a microwave, stove, oven, fridge etc. The biggest plus is the location like I previously mentioned.

The office is very conveniently located right at the intersection with easy to find parking and signage. They also accept my insurance which always helps. They offer early appointments which work perfect so I can go in before I go to work myself. Dr. Grimm is very knowledge with what he does. I have been to several chiropractors as well as know several on a personal level. His bedside manner is wonderful and I am always comfortable under his care. He is able to take on any issues I'm having specifically that particular day and understands my problem areas and how to attack them. Note: this isn't a simple snap, crackle, pop type of establishment where you go because you want a cheap adjustment. Although they are very capable of doing so, I would say this is the type of doc I trust for long term, comprehensive care. I have referred many friends and family and will continue to do so.

I sustained a non-running injury and wanted to get back up to speed, so to speak, as quick as I could without re-injuring myself. The office is on Royal right next to Cantina Laredo on Preston and is easy to find. It's also easy to park with reserved parking right in front. The office is very clean and the receptionist is very sweet and easy to talk to. My insurance hadn't kicked in with my new job yet but they offer a type of one time membership fee that provides discounts on each visit. Dr Grimm is the only doctor there and does a great job addressing your symptoms. Scheduling is spot on and all my appointments have started on time. In addition to adjustments, he uses a treatment method called A.R.T. Active Release Techniques. This focused on my particular muscular issue and I'm feeling better sooner than I expected. It hurts a bit during the treatment but no more than a deep tissue massage. I'd definitely recommend him for advance athletic injury treatment as well as standard chiropractic services.
