As time went on and he needed more care, things began to change with this company. Caregivers would call out at the last minute (the morning of their shift) and Griswold would tell us things such as: "he lives too far out, it's hard to find people willing to drive there", "can you take care of him today, we have no one". The same caregivers would call out multiple times, arrive late, etc. with no consequences. We would request those caregiver be removed from his rotation and they would tell us they were running out of people. One example: my father fell, the caregiver called 911, never called us, and didn't report it to Griswold. She continued to work for Griswold. We did have one caregiver who provided exceptional care for our father for three years, she was the only reason we stayed with Griswold. My advice is to do your research, they provide promises but cannot deliver.
