DO NOT go to this place. Had an emergency type situation (ie: hard contact stuck in back of eye - not able to get off myself). They don't bill medical which was not thoroughly explained to me & would up paying about $100 for someone to fish it out. They also do not have the appropriate equipment - had to used cotton swabs. Dr was good but front desk staff extremely bad bad bad - not helpful whatsoever. When finished had wait 5-10 minutes to get checked out - should had walk out the door & waited for a bill in the mail. In my opinion, it was just Horrible Customer Service. The guy didn't understand the insurance coverage we had. Spent almost an hour for him to figure out his computer glitch, with the insurance company ending up calling THEM to verify we were indeed covered. Then the lady who does the eye tests, ignored us when we asked for a 123 count for the eye puff test. She was rude. Tbh, I believe we were given a hard time for different reasons. I would not recommend them for your eye care needs. read more

I read at a few other review sites that if you are disabled on Medicare the Pueblo CO location will treat you rudely and look down on you. I experienced that first hand. First, I received an appointment verification text to confirm but it wouldn't send when I tried to reply (I am tech savvy, not user error). I had to waste time and go to Visionworks and physically verify my appointment. While there, I asked if they took my insurance. They said yes. But when I came back in for my appointment a few days later, they quickly said they did not take it. What? I served my country, paid taxes for years, and now I'm on disability and they won't take my insurance any longer. Yet this location DID take my medicare before TWICE. Previously, I came to this same location with same insurance, had eye exams and even bought a disturbingly over priced set of lenses and frames. So, I left wondering what to do. I went to a close by Visionworks Competitor thinking I would have to wait a week or two for an appointment. No, the Competitor fit me right in that night. Even better, not only did their competitor take my insurance but they gave me a $200 credit I didn't even know I had. They were kind and gracious and thanked me for my service. In the end, I saved HUNDREDS of dollars compared to the glasses that I got at Visionworks the last time! This included all the same add ons add ons such as transition, lightweight, scratch resistant, etc etc.. The most ironic part of the experience was that today I received a text from Visionworks saying they would be more than happy to reschedule my appointment with them! What? Haha! Never again. Those other reviews I have seen at the other review sights about this location were correct. If you paid your taxes through the years, even served your country, and are unfortunately disabled, you'll leave here shaking your head. read more

My wife went into these phonies for new glasses and after 3 200 mile trips they still couldn't get them right and refunded the cost of the glasses. The idiots aren't even professional enough to know that the real problem was cataracts. Looking to file a lawsuit to recoup the cost of the milage & time wasted dealing with the rip offs. read more

My husband and I have gone to visionworks for years with good results. We have excellent insurance-glasses and sunglasses for both of us is usually a high amount, with little out of pocket expense. HOWEVER, this year (during COVID) was a nightmare that we have been trying to deal with since our appointments in April. FIRST, due to Visionworks and COVID, we were required to have a different type exam costing us more since insurance would not cover. SECOND, I wanted both glasses and contacts exam, but did not need 6-12 months supply of lenses, being unsure if I could even wear them. I was told I HAD to order 6-12 month supply of contacts, AND the insurance had to apply to contacts NOT to glasses or sunglasses. THIRD, we had our own frames, but again due to COVID, they would not use our frames so we had to purchase new ones. FOURTH, we were told all products ordered would be mailed to us, but we kept receiving emails/texts to go into store and pick up glasses. When we went in, we were told they had a "new rule" that we could only come in by appointment (COVID again), and would have to schedule and come back to get glasses and have fitted (we live out of town-100miles RT). Someone was willing to look in the store for the glasses, but they could not find them. Two days later, we received glasses in the mail. I tried to get my sunglasses adjusted, but was told to make an appointment and come back again. There is no way to make an appointment unless you schedule exam with dr. When calling the store, there is no answer; finally you get a long recording that just keeps repeating same unhelpful info. I finally emailed the homestore of visionworks about the problems. After extended time period, I received an email saying the Pueblo office is now open, just call them to take care of everything. NOT TRUE! The phone situation is the same as before. FIFTH and finally,I am now wearing glasses that I cannot see through to drive (bifocal line is too high); My sunglassess also have bifocal problem; additionally the frame is HUGE and keeps falling off my face! Although they did try to adjust them one time, the frame is now completely crooked-one lens actually touches my eye?!! I was told I should've selected a smaller frame! Why wasn't I told that when they were measuring me with frame to fit the glasses? Who knew each frame only comes in one size? Isn't it their job to either fit you or let you know before you order and pay that they cannot fit you? Now I have a bill for about $1500 and am unable to see through brand new expensive glasses and sunglasses. I have a 6-month supply of contacts I am also unable to wear. If anyone has suggestions on how to handle this situation, I am open to hearing them and thank you! read more

My daughter ran out of contact lenses and her yearly exam is next month. Dr Visionworks made me buy two brand new boxes of contact lenses $50 each even though I stated my daughter's prescription most likely changed. The tech stated she would not let me purchase one pair to get my daughter through to get yearly appointment next month. Now I will mostly likely have to purchase a whole new set of contact lenses after her yearly appointment next month. Wasting two brand new boxes. I AM ABSOLUTELY DISSATISFIED. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. I will be going to another Vision provider! read more

The lady running the office was the rudest lady I have encountered in a long time. She asked me who are and what do you want? Not going to spend my time and money with (Kat). In my businesses we would let her go. She treated me like I was a bother and I was less than acceptable. All I wanted to purchase is contacts. Be aware paying customers. You have choices. read more

Been going to Pueblo Visionworks for a few years now, and have always had excellent customer service. Helpful staff, good selection of frames, and prompt service. Went today and was helped by Angel, a very pleasant young man, with whom I enjoyed chatting. I'll go back! read more

I have been going here for a couple of years now and have had nothing short of a great experience every visit. They are friendly and fast with their work and very prepared. The workers and doctors here make sure that your glasses are up to your expectations and that your visit has no sharp stops. read more

The worst customer service ever. I was helped by a lady name Patricia, and she literally laughed at me when i was trying to ask questions and treated me like i was stupid for not understanding how the process worked. I did have the picture of the back of my eyes taken, so I was looking at 45$ for the exam, plus my 10$ co-pay, and also my 10$ materials co-pay (which covers my single vision lenses in full after co payment) around 65$ is what my total should have been, but she tried to charge me 250$. I began to ask more questions, and this is when she began laughing at me " No, your going to have to pay this out of pocket" I apologized to her stating this was my first time getting glasses and maybe i was confused about it worked. I told her I didn't feel comfortable paying that much when i have 150 frame allowance and my frames were only 132$, and she told me it was because of my lenses. She continued to treat me like i was an idiot so i just told her i would come back for my glasses. So i called my insurance this morning to clarify coverage. My lenses are covered in full after my materials co pay. This place literally tried to scam me out 185$. PLEASE BEWARD OF THIS COMPANY. read more
