She truly treats every child like family. Denise is patient, kind, and incredibly attentive to each child's individual needs. She keeps us well-informed throughout the day and always shares little updates and pictures that show how much she genuinely enjoys what she does. The activities she plans are wonderful -- from crafts and story time to outdoor play and early learning -- our child is always excited to go. The daycare itself is clean, organized, and welcoming, with plenty of toys and learning materials. You can really tell Denise has put a lot of thought into making it a nurturing space and we have by far preferred a home setting vs a facility. We feel so lucky to have found Denise's daycare. Knowing our child is safe, loved, and thriving gives us such peace of mind. We couldn't recommend her more highly!

One of the things we appreciate most is her communication. She sends regular updates and pictures throughout the day, which gives us so much peace of mind. It's clear she really takes the time to connect with each child and keep parents in the loop. Denise also provides breakfast, lunch, and snacks, which has been such a huge help for our busy family and picky eater. She's incredibly flexible as well--whether it's early drop-offs or occasional drop-in days, she's always willing to work with our schedule. The kids are always engaged in thoughtful activities and crafts, and you can tell she puts a lot of love and intention into creating a fun, nurturing environment. We feel so lucky to have found Denise and would highly recommend her to any family looking for a caring, reliable daycare provider!

If I could give this daycare 100 stars, I absolutely would…read more I originally came to this daycare because I had an 11 month old baby. My three year old at the time was attending another daycare that only accepted children age two and up. I wanted both of my kids in the same place, so I enrolled them here and I am so grateful I did. My son started here when he was about 11 months old, and from the very beginning you could tell the staff genuinely love and have a true passion for children. My daughter started when she was three and was very shy and scared at first, but her teachers and the staff made her feel so comfortable. She was able to be herself here, just like she is at home. I truly love all the staff and the amazing events they put together. They make every holiday so special and fun for the kids Halloween, Easter, open house events, picture days, and so much more. You can really tell how much effort and love they put into creating these moments, and that's something I truly appreciate as a parent. They even allowed me to have a birthday lunch for my daughter's 4th birthday, and she was beyond thrilled. For my son's 1st birthday, they also made it feel so special. Those little moments mean everything, and it shows how much they truly care about each child. My daughter is now four, turning five, and will be graduating with her TK class. Thanks to this daycare, she already knows her ABCs and colors in Spanish, which is amazing. My one year old son already knows his colors, loves singing, and absolutely loves everyone here. What I also really appreciate is that if there is ever an issue or concern, the staff communicates it kindly and respectfully. They truly work as a team with parents to find solutions and support the child, which means so much to me. Even though my daughter will be leaving, my son will continue here and I will gladly make the commute because the care, love, and dedication from the staff is worth it. The atmosphere here is so welcoming my mom loves it, my family loves it, and I love it. I would 100% recommend this daycare. You will not regret choosing this place. Thank you so much for taking such amazing care of my children.

This was my very first experience with childcare, and I was so nervous in the beginning. It's such a hard thing to hand your baby over to someone else and trust that they'll be loved and cared for the way you would. We toured a few different daycares before finding Rose, and the moment I met her, I just knew this was the right place. Her home is beautiful, clean, and so welcoming--it immediately put me at ease. Those first few weeks were tough for me, but Rose was so kind and understanding. She sent me photos of Wyatt throughout the day and kept in touch so I always knew he was doing okay. That meant everything to me. Since starting with Rose, Wyatt has completely blossomed. His language has taken off, his social skills have improved so much, and he absolutely loves his routine of going in the mornings to see his friends. He's also built the sweetest bond with Noelle--he talks about her all the time at home and truly adores her. Rose and Noelle care for these kids like family, and it shows in every little thing they do. This review is way overdue, but if you're looking for a daycare where your child will be safe, happy, and cared for by people who truly love what they do, I can't recommend Rose and Noelle enough.

We were looking for an in-home daycare for our 16-month old to have a social yet small, intimate environment. We were attracted to SKC because Jana was a certified teacher which is rare among in-home daycares we looked at (we wanted someone who understands child development). Jana emphasized play and nature in her program, which was appealing. Upon meeting her, we found even more to like. She offered healthy meals, communicated professionally, and seemed to truly enjoy her work. All of that has turned out to be true and more. I will share some outstanding things below. Child development - Jana is an excellent teacher. For example, she does sensory bins not just bc they keep the kids occupied, but because they promote open-ended play which is huge for toddlers. Lots of developmentally appropriate activities, practicing gross and fine motor skills, imagination, and nature. Jana is always positive with the kids and encouraging them. She finds teachable moments to demonstrate good manners or caring for others. Our son has developed beautifully under her care. Healthy meals - The menu here is healthy, and very diverse, exposing our son to different foods. There is always a fruit or vegetable, and interesting items like veggie dumplings, hummus, pumpkin whole grain waffles. Communications - As we all know, covid has thrown a wrench into things. We've had bad experience before with daycares not communicating well or openly around covid-impacted changes. Jana is different. She actually had a meeting with all the parents to discuss it, and also sends letters home detailing procedures when needed. More broadly, she always communicates timely about financial matters, and treats everyone fair and square. Parental involvement - Not only does Jana send us photos throughout the week, she sends a weekly report home with each toddler. This is a personalized, one page, single-spaced overview of what our son did each day that week, what he enjoyed or struggled with. This helps us as parents to be aware and reinforce what is being learned at school. Not to mention it's full of cute stories about our son that make us smile! I have never seen a daycare do that. Fun - It's obvious that the kids have a lot of fun. They go to the park, explore tree barks, chase after trains, dance around, pretend cook, and play soccer in her backyard, etc. At the end of the day at pickup, all the kids look happy and engaged. The ultimate testament is that our son asks to go to school often! Sorry for the long review. SKC really impresses us!

I would have kept him for another year in their…read moreTK class but my hubby insisted we put our kid in a dual immersion program in our neighborhood. It's not hard to make the argument to keep our kid here another year--our child has had exceptional schooling here and with the student ratio of 7:1 I felt our monthly tuition of $990 was well worth the "private school" education and attention. We had our kid here for 3 years! When our child was 2 (we were waiting until his 2nd birthday) we brought him here when he was in diapers. I've followed the teachers' lead on potty training, and their philosophy is more child-focused, so waiting for the kiddo to initiate. Seeing his peers use the toilet finally got him interested, at age 3.5 (a real late bloomer) but that never phased the teachers. This daycare has such a diverse student population--even though this is Jewish daycare it's really a neighborhood daycare. I think only 2 students in my kid's class are Jewish, so it's really amazing to see it like the United Nations lol. At age 3 they go on field trips like Tanaka Farms, and if you keep your kid in the TK class there's a field trip every month! The school organizes a sweet Mother's Day tea time to celebrate the female figures in the kiddo's life, and I'll always remember my first Mother's Day event I was just touched by all the organizing involved. In the age 4 group there are more classes for the kids like cooking, music, science, and physical education. They've made french toast, cupcakes; in science class they made vanilla ice cream, a volcano with lava running, grown lima beans. In PE they are introduced to lots of different sports , and in music different instruments. During the pandemic they were quick to organize and be awarded some Biden infrastructure money to remodel parts of the campus, like flooring and the kitchen. They are very good about security. There are 3 codes you must know to get into the parking lot, the security door to the campus, and the door to the daycare. There are cameras as well. It is unfortunate that anything Jewish has to have more security than other religious institutions but at the end of the day, you get use to it and feel that your child is safe there. With the 2023 shootings at Jewish buildings throughout the country, the Westmister police patrolled Beth David regularly and the school kept the parents abreast of the situation until the paranoia died down. Teachers are effective and caring. Inquire on space and consider yourself lucky if you get a slot.
