We came to VIP Tires to replace a tire and get an alignment on our Tesla Model X. After the replacement, we realized the new tire was a different model than the one Tesla had installed just days earlier. Hung, the owner, said it was the same type--just a newer version--but it was clearly not the same. We weren't informed of the change beforehand, and communication afterward was a nightmare. After trying to resolve it, we eventually gave up and decided to just drive with the mismatched tires. Today--almost exactly a year later--we had a flat on the tire VIP Tires installed. The Tesla Service Center said the mismatch may have contributed to the issue. They also noted that another tire, also a year old, was badly worn--likely due to poor alignment. We trusted VIP Tires to do the job right, but the lack of transparency, poor communication, and questionable alignment have caused long-term issues. With EVs, tire compatibility and proper alignment aren't optional--they're essential. read more

He will promise you that your tires will be warranty by the shop but if you have a problem, it will be very difficult to claim it.
