I had my first visit at Duffel Dental today and was so impressed! The staff was so quick to get me…read moreback and so friendly. The check in is easy and X-rays were great. Usually I hate the X-rays because they're so rough and quick but she took her time and was very gentle. Dr Duffel was great! He was super friendly and easy to talk to. I normally have severe dental anxiety but this place eased my nerves so fast. I already scheduled my next appointment and am (for the first time) actually not dreading it!

Here's the thing... it's a matter of "opinion" I've never…read morehad a cavity in my life. Never brushed well so just one of those lucky people that are resistant to them. Grew up with a dentist in Houston that was great and called out cavities on the rest of my family every couple years - me... never. Moved to OKC and go to Mustang north. They tell me I have THIRTEEN and need to get them fixed asap. I freak out because it's a couple grand. Send my X-rays to two different dental offices for their opinions. Both said "uhh we'd keep an eye on two or three of these spots but wouldn't call any of it a cavity/fill anything in." Mustang north did an excellent and reasonably priced wisdom teeth removal for me. But I will never have them clean and care for my teeth again.

Sounding annoyed when I ask them to do their job and no hospitality when they are the ones that keep messing up. Seriously don't go here if you want to save yourself a headache. They took a digital scan and sent it off to a lab to make my partial. I went to pick it up when it was ready, and what was ordered and what I paid for, was not there. What was there was there wrong type of partial. The lady that took the scan was very apologetic and didn't understand how that happened, and stated she will get this fixed ASAP and have the lab remake it and that I can keep the mistake one as a back up as they don't want it back and that one should have never been made. After it got remade, I got a call soon after telling me the lab must have sent the partial to a different dentist office and they'll have them remake it again because it couldn't be found. So, I wait again. The correct partial comes in and I go back into Buffalo to get it. It doesn't fit. It was forced into my mouth and had to be pried out. The girl took a drill and drilled it down to the point it looked absolutely horrible leaving a gap and still didn't fit. I refused that one and asked them to take another scan or maybe the lab got it wrong, again. The Dr, the one in the picture when you look this place up told me they only use the best of the best lab and how could a lab in Nicole's Hills not get it right. I reminded him of what's already happened with the lab and he told me to leave and he was not going to work me and he was not going to keep making new partials for me. WHAT? Like it was my fault the first one that came was the completely wrong partial and the next time the lab lost it by sending it to the wrong office and it could not be found? How is any of that my fault? So, I ask for a refund as I paid for what I'm not getting now. Plus he collected on my insurance. I paid him $400 out of pocket. He told the girl upfront that the only way he'd refund me was if I gave him the first mess up back. I was told it was mine and I could use it as a back up and I was I was using it until the one I paid for came it. Welp, it's been a year now and I've not received a refund. This is pretty shady business practice. If I could give zero stars, I would. They are efficient. The staff is always friendly. I love Jeannette! She does an amazing job! She is gentle, but my teeth feel clean after my visit. On July 3rd I was seen by Dr. Patrick for a routine cleaning at 20 weeks pregnant. A small cavity…read morewas found and a filling was offered. I agreed to the filling and was seen same day. During my filling my mouth was cut twice and I was told there could be some swelling after but it would heal without stitches. I was sore after once the numbing wore off but thought nothing of it however it only got worse over the weekend and by the 6th I was in excruciating pain so I went to urgent care. Urgent care immediately referred me to the emergency room due to an aggressive infection stemming from the filling. I ended up having an overnight stay with close monitoring to make sure both my baby and I were safe. I had left a massage with the office over the weekend and they called while I was still hospitalized. Dr. Patrick looked at it after the hospital stay and stated the infection should have been impossible as it was a small cavity and there were no signs of infection from the x rays taken that day. They asked what they could do to make it right, I requested the medical bills be covered as this was due to the filling completed in their office. I sent over medical documents as requested and they turned around and stated they would cover nothing. I walked in healthy and left with an aggressive infection that could have killed both my daughter and I yet they refuse to take accountability and I am forced to bear the financial burden for their mistakes. ***To get a comment back about how they care about providing the best experience to their patients is a slap in the face after the experience their office caused. I felt safe and assured that I was in good hands. We scheduled the second appointment, I got there and it started out relatively the same, up until a student heard I was getting a RCT and from that point everything changed. At one point, multiple people were hovering around me as if I was an animal on display at the zoo. They did not ask my consent to be watched. The dentist was in and out and once it came time to start working on my teeth I was no longer numb. I screeched in pain and he shoved a numbing needle in my mouth that left an extensive bruise. Lastly, my procedure required antibiotics and they confirmed the pharmacy with me and NEVER sent it in. So now, I'm at risk of turning septic, their office is closed for the holiday, and I have to go to the doctor to receive medication they were supposed to send for. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Save yourself the pain and embarrassment.
