In what appears to have formerly been a garage or warehouse next to the Le Boy gay stripper bar,…read moreyou'll find Late Night Liquor. It's also owned and operated by the same people who own and operate Le Boy. Though of little relevance, the Florida Fictitious Name filing of January 18, 2016 for Late Night Liquor, is a fictitious name for the principle, Idsd, LLC., which one can easily read through as being Le Boy. Late Night is just an over the counter sale, so you don't get to walk around amongst the bottles or have any opportunity to look things over. However, the staff is friendly and most helpful in guiding you in your purchases or assisting you in any manner. It has large and well varied stock of hard liquors, but for wines it's clearly on the very weak side. Though I would guess the primary purpose of it was for Le Boy to purchase liquors in larger volumes in order to reduce costs, Late Night is good as it remains open 6:00pm to 2:00am in the morning except on Mondays. One thing that makes shopping here during those late hours of the night or early hours of the morning is that right next to it sits a security guard, though primarily for Le Boy, serves for both. And I might add that he just isn't any bouncer type security guard, but one in full uniform, also impressively friendly and helpful to the patrons of both establishments. As for prices, unless it's on a special, I failed to see any deals at Late Night. So, I have to say that if you are a price conscious shopper, other places such as Total Wine & More has Late Night beat. But then, the real purpose of late night is convenience not price. Though Late Night doesn't amount to much and its prices seem a tad high, I'm going to go a Three Stars OK on it for what it is, what it's intended as, and for the security and safety it offers which many other such similar places don't.

I note that there is already a Yelp review site for this Beer Shop at:…read more https://www.yelp.com/biz/beer-shop-oakland-park?osq=Beer+Shop So this is a duplicate site which I will dutifully report to Yelp, but for the time being, rather than leave blank, I'll leave a review. While in Puerto Rico I picked up a taste for the Magna beer, so I stopped by the Beer Shop to see if they had any. Unfortunately they didn't, but when enter I was given a warm greeting and kindly advised that the nearest distributor for Magna was in Miami and with low demand for it, not worth bothering to supply Broward County. Though I didn't get what I wanted, I found out why and had a chance to explore the Beer Shop. Even for a beer shop it's dumpy, run down, dated and with the floors and areas actually being dirty. Matter of fact so much so I didn't want to check expiration dates on anything and I can assure you I really wouldn't be interested in any food products they have, such their rotating thing of hot dogs. With dirty floors and seemingly stray boxes of stuff cluttering the aisles it's to me an "Eeeek, me thinks not," One Star, but as their clerk was so friendly and helpful I'll put it down merely as a "Meh! I've seen better."

First is its location on A1A right on the beach and again its location right next to several little dining places that do not service liquor. So, if you're hot and tired on the beach and need some cold brewskis to smuggle back onto the beach or to do a BYOB at some of the eating establishments, you can do it. Best off it will be at a fantastic savings for you as none of the area eating places that don't have a liquor license that I've seen will bother charging you any uncorking or opening bottle fees. One can also not underestimate this little store as they can also do deliveries and host events at local hotels which would also include food.
