The Home came out just like we had hoped, having experienced living in a manufactured home I was already aware of some of the things to watch out for as far as build quality goes. It's important to manage expectation with a manufacture home these are not multi-million dollar houses but at the same time it's not pocket change. Clayton of Albany's service team in conjunction with the lots owner make sure to go above and beyond on the follow-up of the sale to make sure the house comes together like it should. Wayne (the owner) was always more than happy to take a call when I felt that I needed to escalate an issue to him. To me the true test of a review is if you would do business with them again and I can say without a doubt that I would do it over again. The house is something we are happy with and we know that something similar as a stick built or on site build we would have been in at least another $150k over the clayton price.

As one can imagine they are on a very limited income and need help when they can get it. I called and spoke with Dale Kaufman and he was very condescending and insisting on a prohibitive $100 fee just to come out to the house. As the son I was willing to pay the extortion-oops I mean estimate fee even though I wasn't happy with it. Dale hung up on me. Completely unprofessional and the fact that they are willing to gouge vulnerable senior citizens is really quite alarming. Yeah... they MAY be able to give you a nice remodeled kitchen but at what cost? Negative karma points here for sure. Shame on them.

They quoted us $3000 unit replacement with the rebate. Price would have been $4000. Same furnace as the first company. So was the other company going to apply for the rebate & not tell us? No way to know for sure. James came out on time & got the job done. The two technicians were very knowledgeable & seemed to work with a purpose which you don't see these days. A third tech came out for a short time to convert the furnace to propane. I would highly recommend this company!!
