Dr. Vincent is an amazing orthodontist!! My daughter had a tooth that was transposed (swapped) and it had a long ways to travel to get to the right spot. I had two other consults with local orthodontists and was told that I should just leave the tooth and they would grind down the tooth in front of it to make it smaller. My pediatric dentist said, "NO WAY!" find an orthodontist who is willing to move it. Dr. Vincent was great to explain the process and the risks involved in moving the tooth. He also explained that they use Damon braces which are a more advanced technology. They don't cause as much pressure as the traditional braces. My daughter was happy about that. Now we are one year into treatment and my daughter's tooth has completely moved over one tooth and into the position where it needs to be. Since my daughter is a teenager in middle school, I can tell you that just this change has made a HUGE impact in her life and has given her more confidence!! I have had a long relationship with Dr. Vincent and his staff, dating back to 2007. My husband and I have brought three children to him for treatment, all with complicated cases that required additional care and expertise. I had my sons teeth done by Vincent team and I was very pleased. Several years later when I had moved far away from Dr. Vincent's office and my daughter needed braces. I hired an orthodontist near her school and $4500 later and over two years of a painful mouth for my daughter, the results were awful! I knew where I had to go to fix what this orthodontist did to my daughters mouth. It has been one week since Dr. Vincent put his braces on her and it already there is a notable difference. I had braces when I was a teenager and I didn't wear my retainers as I should have. Now as an adult my teeth were crooked and I could still feel them moving even more out of place. I wanted to have pretty teeth, but even more I wanted a healthy mouth. So I decided to do braces again and I chose Dr. Vincent. I have had the best experience and I have been surprised by the difference between the type of braces Dr. Vincent uses and the kind I had as a kid. Sure they are uncomfortable at first, but the adjustments are not as painful as I remember them being and the appointments are further apart. I love it! After only 2 1/2 months my bottom teeth were almost straight, seeing is believing! I have to wear them for 14-15 months compared to almost 2 years for other types of braces. I had done braces in the past and had great results, but I just felt like I could get more with the Damon brace system used by Dr. Vincent. My second time around was absolutely amazing! My teeth were very rarely sore. i have a lot more in my mouth as my arches expanded. My teeth don't look like they disappear into the back of my mouth, and my tongue has a lot more room. I'm sleeping more comfortably and breathing less through my mouth at night. I'm now a nose breather during the day. Having braces as an adult is not the most fun, but I found my experience quite enjoyable. Dr. Vincent has a great team that have helped all four of us in our family improve our smiles! The Damon braces were comfortable to wear and moved my teeth quickly. Another orthodontist told me I would need to have four permanent teeth pulled and jaw surgery to fix my bite. While I still needed jaw surgery, Dr. Vincent was able to achieve the results I wanted without needing extractions, so grateful for that! I had a scooter accident (the handle bars literally fell apart in my hands while going downhill on a turn and I biffed it hard smacking my mouth HARD on the cement.) I immediately went to the ER and afterwards made an apt for my braces to make sure I didn't break any teeth or braces. They were very accommodating and brought me in the very next day. Complete X-rays we're done and it turns out my power bracket probably saved my teeth from knocking back.
