My only complaint is ordering was a little challenging as we attempted to order takeout about 1 hour from closing. The website didn't let you order certain things and they didn't answer their phone when we called. Luckily for us the restaurant was located a 3 minute walk away so we placed an order at the actual restaurant. The quality and taste more than made up for the inconvenience. I ordered the prawns rose and Famoso salad. My husband had the chicken parmesan. It took about an 40min to prepare but the food was hot and really well packed for our takeout needs The Famoso salad was unique and had a great medley of flavors including crisp pepperoni, a delicious chicken breast, and a wonderful dressing! The portion sizes were great as we both had left overs I would definitely order again!

FOOD Pizza by the slice: $3.19 My little guy likes chicken, so we keep getting the BBQ Chicken or the Tandoori Chicken slices from the front display. Both are good without being too oily. There are typically a variety of pizzas in the front counter available to purchase by the slice, from vegetarian to Hawaiian, to meat lovers, etc. They heat up the slices briefly before serving them to you. === 3. SERVICE It's always been fast and professional; kudos go to the team there. They are likely told to upsell making your order a drink combo, which is fine, but something we've not done, though it seems like many other patrons do. === 4. ENVIRONMENT Because it's the Hillside Centre food court, you're treated to plenty of space in a modern-esque environment, able to bring groups large and small, as well as any wheelchairs and baby strollers. Parking in the mall parking lot outside should not be an issue either, even during the after-school rush.

4.5. Food and service were definitely 5 star level but I dinged it for small reasons I explain at…read morethe end. The food here was absolutely superb. And the menu was inspired - clearly rooted in Italian cuisine but very much their own takes. I will let my photos further describe the food. Visiting from the US, where service is efusive to a fault, we struggled in a lot of restaurants we visited in Canada to interpret whether our servers were being frosty toward us or if it was just a cultural difference. Not so here. Our server was super warm and gracious and attentive. Additionally, Italian food is fraught for me because I am not only pescatarian but allergic to basil. And I really wanted pasta. Identifying which dish I should order that actually had what I wanted to eat but also didn't have any of the things I can't eat was a multi-step team effort and I really appreciated how patient and helpful our server was about this. He had to go to the kitchen and ask a lot of questions. My only only complaints are it was a touch pricey and the fact that, because it is so good and therefore popular and crowded, vibes were hectic. Ambiance, especially leading up to the front entrance, is old world and warm and exciting, however tables were very close together. Volume was an issue. I struggled to leave our table without hitting our neighbors and we could hear other people's conversations. The front entrance was especially hectic as people waited for their tables to become available. I really believe that the ambiance/vibes are a huge part of the dining experience and at a price point like this I expect not to feel crowded in during my meal. Other than that though, this was really lovely and a highlight of our dining in Victoria.
