    Lunchtime fun

OK, I normally don't give four stars to small markets in small towns; however, Village Point truly deserves it! They have an eclectic collection of goods ranging from very high-end wine to wonderful craft cheeses. My wife and I stopped for a sandwich for the day after we went shopping there. Must say the sandwiches were absolutely delicious as well. The girls working behind the counter did an excellent job making our sandwiches to order! If you're in the area stop by!

My wife and I stopped here, finally, after driving by for years. We planned on getting a sandwich. I could not had been more surprised. The place is neat as a pin. They have a wide selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, baked goods, etc. There is also a full deli. We orders sandwiches by grabbing a pad of order forms on the counter and checking the boxes of what we wanted. There is an option for hot or cold. It took less than ten minutes to receive our meals and they were quite busy. There are several booths to sit at. Each is equipped with a little basket holding paper plates and paper napkins. A nice touch. The booths were super clean! Our sandwiches were very, very good and the price was right. I decided that I wanted a little ice cream to finish the meal. I opted for three scoops, in a bowl. For the first scoop, the girl put in three scoops of Chocolate. I had asked for three flavors and she said that that was just the first scoop. You definitely get your money's worth! Three HUGE scoops for $2.50. You can't beat that. I noticed that a previous poster said there were no restrooms. There certainly are restrooms. Perhaps they are new? I can't pin down exactly what this place is. It's a cross between a convenience store, ice cream store, sandwich shop, vegetable stand and more. I just know that I liked everything about it and look forward to returning.

Great gluten free subs that are made to order. Cheerful service. Great selection of wines and foods, craft sodas, and locally sourced items.

A Slice Above--This Tower Leans Right Into Your Heart (and Arteries)…read moreLet me tell you, the Leaning Tower of Pizza doesn't just lean... it lunges at your taste buds like a carb-loaded ninja with marinara on its hands. We rolled in hungry, and left questioning if we should update our wills to include pizza rights. The lineup: A Large Meats pizza that looked like it bench-pressed smaller pizzas for fun. A Medium Pep & Sausage with white sauce--or as I like to call it, "Garlic Oil's Greatest Hits." A Personal Pep & Sausage, because someone said "I'm not hungry" and then ate half the large. Three Subs that could double as home security devices: A Meatball Sub that came in like a wrecking ball (Miley Cyrus not included). An Original with Double Meat--they doubled the meat and tripled our joy. And the Pizza Sub, which basically said, "Why should pizza have all the fun? Put it on a bun." The service? Absolutely top-notch. Friendly, fast, and they didn't flinch when we ordered like we were feeding a small village. The food? Delicious. Cheesy. Meaty. Saucy. The Leaning Tower of Pizza isn't just a name--it's a culinary landmark that should probably have its own zip code. Would eat again. Would unbutton pants in advance. Would tell others, just like I'm telling you now. Grazie, Tower. You leaned... and we fell.
