I don't do a lot of international travel, but in Italy, France and Germany, free parking, wifi, and an air conditioner in the rooms is a luxury unless you are at a major airport hotel. I have week long testing / competition sessions at Hockenheim at times in August, this year will be the 5th trip in the last 7 years. I stayed in Hockenheim the first time at the Ramada, it had no air, parking was not free, and it was somewhat cramped. the Leonardo (used to be a holiday inn) is in a great location and the town of Waldorf has all the conveniences I need, bank, grocery stores, restaurants, and a few cool little bars. The staff is very nice.

The hotel staff is A+, and the rooms are clean and simple (IKEA style). The entire guesthouse is on the SAP network, so Internet access is free and easy. My favorite part about the Kalipeh is the onsite restaurant. They serve a lovely breakfast spread with fresh fruits and veggies, homemade breads, meats, cheese, hardboiled eggs and even miso soup. They have an enormous coffee maker you can use, or the staff will make whatever coffee drink you desire. Pots of hot tea in a variety of flavors are also available. All of this is included in your guest room fee. The restaurant uses local and organic ingredients, and serves up delicious dinners as well. In the evening, the bar turns into an SAP mixer - a nice place to catch up with new and old colleagues. For those who live with air conditioning...you might struggle a bit in the summer months here.
