After checking in we walk to our room only to be greeted by a sauerkraut smell in the hallway and in our room. The room is an okay size but the bathroom has a few issues. The toilet is right behind the door so you can't open it all the way and when you shower the water leaks out all over the floor no matter which angle you more the shower head too. Later in the evening we ordered room service which specified on the menu a hamburger and French fries or baked potatoes. When we called to order we were told that there were no baked potatoes so we got French fries and when the service came to our room we received a beef pattie with French fries..... No bun or even lettuce on top. We have been at this hotel less than 8 hours and have seen nothing but disappointment.

The buffet contained nothing but cakes, sugary croissants with either jam, vanilla or chocolate. Ok, there were also some untempting precut dry bread. I know traditions are different, however this was not good. All in all a good 3 star hotel.

The room includes multiple spaces for luggage and unpacking clothes. The journey by taxi to the hotel from Roma Termini was about 30 minutes around 1750 (eur 25) and to FCO Airport 22 minutes around 0700 (eur 50). One item to know is that the bathroom door is translucent glass. An early riser could disturb a late riser. I ate the breakfast (EUR 14 or included in the rate), and it was very good. We found a pleasant bar 10 minutes walk from the hotel, Giovarruscio Ennio, V.le Città d'Europa, 837. The aperitivo snacks are good. We drank Negroni (10) and Campari with soda (6). Another 5 minutes further is Bistrot 4.5, Via Amsterdam, 140, for a pleasant dinner. These are good places to know if you want to get out of the hotel. , We recommend this hotel, and we would stay here again.

The food & wine were delicious and the staff at the restaurant went out of their way to be accommodating Truly decompressing after a lot of touring around Italy. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL…read more This is the worst hotel I have ever been to. I am a traveler and after I saw their beautiful rooms posted online, I decided to book one night with my daughter. I had a very early flight the following day to Atlanta. They gave us a room in the attic. The most pitiful one they have. The ceiling was SO INCLINED that we hit our heads many times. No tables where we could put our luggage. The fridge wasn't working. They sent me a so-called technician who didn't know how to fix the refrigerator. I had to dismiss him after he tried 40 minutes to figure out how. The toilet was built just in front of the shower! We had to step above it to enter the shower. The single bed where my daughter slept was ok. They put 2 SINKING single beds next to each other in which I slept on the edge to not sink in the middle of it. Stay away from this hotel. It is not worth the 98 dollars you would pay for one night.
