You start out sailing down the river and seeing lots of crew rowers and bridges and gorgeous sites. The narration is in multiple languages. I didn't get a beer, but I think you could get one for 3 Euro. It was a perfect day and we saw this huge hotel and where some Expo buildings were. It was the off season, so the boat was about a third full. It was almost exactly an hour tour and totally a recommend, especially if you want to rest your feet!

The rooms are very spacious and everything is clean. The inside courtyard of the hotel is filled with the scents of flowers and filled with greenery and spaces to sit read or mingle. Also shopping and attractions are within walking distance and the weather during late November is cool but with a shawl and good jacket and layers you'll be fine. Don't leave without having traditional thick hot chocolate and churros! The rooftop lounge is open for breakfast, dinner and drinks. I highly recommend this small hotel and all the restaurants around it. This place is marvelous!

In fact, we actually received a passive aggressive note on our door requesting that we come down for a scolding because we accidentally spilled some tomato sauce on a sheet. Oh yeah, and when I tried to access the "rooftop bar" I got yelled at by a worker to get off. Crap service, crap attitudes, no microwaves in the rooms, tiny fridge (don't pay for the garbage in there), simply crap all around. Just don't bother if you can make other accommodations. PS: nothing is complimentary-we were charged for two cups of coffee (from about a week before) upon checkout...and the male employee tried to convince us that we had also had a breakfast-lol at you, dummy, as I'm vegan and couldn't eat the food. Penny pinching fools.

Needed an extra blanket and calling the desk was useless. Just had to go to desk to get it. Breakfast was okay. Automatic coffee machine grinds beans and chugs along for several minutes before it spits out about an ounce of coffee. Had to repeat three times to get half a cup. Not efficient.

My husband and I spent…read moreone night in Sevilla in October and he picked the hotel because he had visited the city previously. Once we arrived in Sevilla, it was pretty easy to find. We dropped off our rental at the airport and hopped on the bus that took you into the city. We got off at the San Sebastian stop and walked with our suitcases a few blocks up to the hotel. I also liked that it was walking distance from many of the sights we wanted to check out. We were able to walk to a Flamenco show, the Real Alcazar and the Cathedral. We also took some scooters to Plaza España. The hotel itself was more so a blocks of rooms in a neighborhood square connected with a labyrinth of courtyards and gardens. The rooftop was really neat, too. There are different levels where you can lay out in the sun near people or more privately. There is a pool that looked neat but we didn't have enough time to get in before our show. The hotel itself is clearly very old (by American standards at least) but well preserved and beautiful. The hotel piano bar in the second floor is a must see, too. Don't miss it! The rooms were surprisingly modern. The bathroom was very spacious. The bed was a little firmer than I would have liked but it wasn't a deal breaker by any means. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

I was grateful for the valet parking, not so much by the €25 a day charge. The building itself seems to be a collection of buildings spread around a number of internal and external courtyards. Our room was accessible via a long and twisty underground tunnel that stretched for at least 300m passing the spa, various bric a brac bits and pieces, statues, fountains, peculiar display areas that may, or may not, have been shops or small boutiques. I've no idea. It's almost impossible to describe how bizarre and yet how charming it all was. After a while, though, I have to confess it became a bit of a schlepp. Our room was small but the bed was extremely comfortable with a queen size bed and a decent sized, well provisioned, en-suite bathroom. A piano bar on the first floor was both elegant and comfortable and we repaired there each evening after dinner in one of the fabulous restaurants within walking distance. The hotel also opened out onto a small plaza with plenty of outdoor bar and coffee options throughout the day and into the night. A couple of minutes away was the Cathedral and Alcazar as were numerous shops, bars, restaurants and ice cream parlours (a must). I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for a stay in Seville but leave the car at home,

We came here on with the Gate 1 group on a Wednesday night in November. It was the late show, 9:30,…read moreand we were the ONLY people there. I don't know if that means it was the off season or they closed it for us, but being the only audience of 15-19 people felt like the royal treatment. Our ticket included 2 drinks. We were instructed not to take pictures or videos DURING the performance, but rather afterward, during the curtain calls. We had eaten at Mt Olivo earlier so we did not eat, just had drinks. They were so good about explaining what each piece meant. We enjoyed the excerpts from Bizet's Carmen, the group pieces, music, and the solos. The artwork was beautiful too! I did not use the restroom so I can't speak to how they were. They are also very savvy; they sell fans, castanets, and other knick knacks for people who fall in love with flamenco music! I did not buy any but I kind of wish I did. I'd go back when it's busier, but I admit having a bar 'to myself' kind of spoiled me!

Such a powerful performance by this group. This was the first time seeing a Flamenco performance…read morelive so I can't really compare this to anything. The venue at El Patio Sevillano is small and intimate, perhaps it seats no more than 200 seats. Which is perfect because there isn't a bad seat in the house!! We also ordered Spanish bier and vino, prior to the show starting, they'll come to your seat. Flamenco, from what I understand, was born from a marginalized group in Andalusia, called the Gitanos. From the southern region of Spain, Flamenco came about in the late 1800s. I can see that - some of the best music and art has been spurned by angst. I didn't realize that wailing is a big part of this soulful performance, along with the dancing, use of hand clappers and using the right shoes for tapping and stomping the floor. I highly recommend coming here for this performance, you won't be disappointed. And we're all trying to keep our gluteus Maximus tight - perhaps this would be a great hobby to take up, to stay in great shape..
