Honest disclaimer. The owner Franz is a friend of my family. But my review is not based on the friendship. It's based on how magical this place is. Family wedding. A do over... They got remarried. Although my family is very familiar with the estate, I was not. I was secretly collaborating with the owner Franz to add a few surprises. Via email mostly. Saw the space the day before the wedding. Stunning. I loved it. Franz hosts a lot of events. He's an arts sponsor and links promising artist with established ones. One of his many passions. The venue is simply beautiful. Preßbaum is about an hour from Vienna. Getting there is not difficult. We had about 200 people and the celebration lasted until 3 am. As both guests and Franz were enjoying the night. And Franz kept adding massive logs and beams to the fire pit. A 6 foot round beauty. I'll let the pics tell the story. read more
