We ordered a schnitzel and a limbergerteller. Food came out extremely fast and hot. Portions were very large too. With drinks, bill was less than 35 euros. Great service and very friendly staff. Would come back again, especially when they fully open and have a full menu.

Die Villa Konthor ist einfach weit und breit die beste Location, wenn es um Whisky, Wein und Schokolade geht. Wir sind dort seit einiger Zeit Stammkunden und haben schon sehr viele schöne Stunden im Gewölbekeller ver- und erlebt. Klasse die tollen Tastings und die Sonderveranstaltungen mit Live Musik etc. Top wird dieses Jahr eine Spezialreise nach Schottland im Juni sein, bei der viele Whisky Destillerien besucht werden und die vom Inhaber Robin Pitz organisiert wurde. read more

Living in nearby Vallendar for 4 months, Palais was definitely my favorite spot to go out in the…read morecity. I've only been there late night for the club so I can't speak on the restaurant at all, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time clubbing there. The coat check is upstairs (costs a few euros) and the club is down below the main restaurant. You are given a card when you arrive that you charge all your drinks to, and then they charge you on the way out for the amount on the card. DO NOT lose this card. I couldn't find mine the second night I went and got charged something like 60-80 euros for it (understandable, as I could've been charging drinks left and right the entire night and then discarded it). Down below the atmosphere is awesome. Definitely a place to come dance. Never had any complaints about the music and always had a great experience. Highly recommended

Food was good with our only complaint being too little salt. But better too little as too much I guess. Breakfast buffet looked good and they gave us a friendly head-ups that it was coming to an end so we ordered something else from the menu.
