There was already a short line of people waiting. We didn't have reservations and luckily they had ONE table available that had not been reserved yet. This place is so popular by the locals that all the tables except for one had been reserved. The restaurant is known for their hand cheese so we tried the Spanish handy-- it was very delicious. It was served with chopped onions, black olives, a few tiny cubes of red bell pepper in an olive oil base with dry cilantro and a couple of slices of bread on the side. We got the small order and still had some left over to go. For my entree I had the rump steak with green pepper sauce. The steak was very lean and very tender. The green pepper sauce was absolutely delicious with just the right amount of spicy kick to it. I'm usually very picky about my steak and don't like any fatty parts. This didn't have any. I got a side salad along with it that balanced it perfectly. I'm definitely going to recommend it to my fellow visiting coworkers.

There's actually a small park right in front and S&P serves under the shade trees around the fountain in Summer months. This is truly a peaceful place to hang loose. Indoors the ambiance is "rustikal". Tapas are always good. Strong selection of sherries and ports. Normal wine list is OK if unspectacular. They occasionally have very small music ensembles. S&P is an awesome place for a relaxing chill-out good Spanish, and a few drinks. A bit less pretentious than places up the hill on Taunsstrasse. Highly recommended.

We placed our order and after some time she came with something that was not what we had ordered. At first she said 'no, it's what you ordered', which then changed to 'well, i wrote the wrong thing down, but its almost like what you had ordered, so no big deal'. Well, it was to me. I asked her to bring the tomatoes and salad that I had originally ordered, which resulted in an eye roll. OK. Then I ordered another large drink, she brought a small one, I didn't even bother mentioning it. I chose not to let the poor service ruin our beautiful day in Neroberg. To be fair, she charged the cheaper version of the meal (the one I hadn't ordered). All in all, not a great experience, but the location allows one to be forgiving. It's very beautiful there.
